🌡️☀️ It’s going to get Hot Out There today – Please Leave the Lead at Home this afternoon! 🐾
With the temperatures set to soare to 30°c this afternoon, we’re reminding all dog owners: walking your dog in the heat can be deadly. Dogs can overheat within minutes, even on a short walk – especially breeds with flat faces, thick coats, or health issues.
🐶💬 No dog has ever died from missing one walk...
But tragically, many have died from just one walk too many in the heat.
🚫 Hot pavements can burn paws
🚫 Dogs can’t cool down like we do
🚫 Heatstroke can kill, fast
✅ Cool, shaded rest at home
✅ Plenty of fresh water
✅ Mental stimulation inside (puzzle toys, frozen treats, training games)
