The day is looming, last working day on the 28th September, so reposting this.

Unfortunately, dog boarding is currently on hold.

Due to an impending redundancy after 34 years in the same job, I decided to start doing something I enjoy, dog walking, with an eye for occasional dog sitting. Since we lost our retriever 2 years ago, after 15 beautiful years, my wife and I have been dog sitting and walking, mainly for friends and work colleagues, anything from an hours walk, up to a couple of weeks staying with us. As I haven’t got a finishing date at present, I would be starting off by doing dog walking on Weekday evenings, and any time Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, until such a time that I can do it full time.
Will start walking 2 or 3 dogs at a time, concentrating on a more personal service rather than pack walking, for an hour, off lead unless otherwise requested. Can do single dog walks if requested. I also have experience with ‘difficult’ dogs, walking on their own, on lead in very open areas to ensure the dog is kept at a distance from others.
Day care, or overnight dog sitting will include at least 1 walk. Fully secure, dog friendly garden, totally enclosed 6 foot fence, and lockable garden gate.
I am fully insured and DBS checked. I can also obtain references for dog walking and dog sitting.
Dog Walking - £15 (£25 for 2 dogs if from same household)
Pop-In-Service, any type of animal (Feed, toilet break, or just a bit of loving company) - £10 for ½ hour, £15 for 1 hour
Day Care - £25 (£45 for 2 dogs from the same household), to include at least 1 walk – ON HOLD
Dog Boarding - £30 (£50 for 2 dogs from the same household), to include at least 1 walk – ON HOLD

After being made redundant after 34 years, it’s time to start my new venture, dog walking. Check out my earlier posts to see my fur baby history.
Dog walking slots available now, from the 1st October.
Will only be walking 2 dogs maximum, concentrating on a more personal service, no pack walking. All my walks are in quiet locations, away from the popular dog walking spots, ideal if your dog is a bit anxious.
Travel will be by car, RAC approved hammock seat cover, with RAC approved harness with seat belt fixings.
Will also provide a pop-in service, any fur babies catered for. Toilet break, feeding, or just some loving company.
Fully insured and DBS checked.

Walking - £15 for full hour walk, £25 for 2 dogs from the same household.

Pop-in service - £10 for 1/2 hour, £15 for 1 hour.

I’d like to thank all the people that have made enquiries for dog boarding. Unfortunately, I still haven’t got a finishing date from my current employer, so can’t do Monday to Thursday, and most weekends are filling up now. I will update my page when I have a confirmed date when I can start doing weekdays.
