Recently, I have had quite a few people either not showing for appointments or cancelling appointments with less than 24 hours' notice. Please understand that this is very detrimental to me and my business. This can happen numerous times a month, so you can imagine the loss of earnings this incurs. Below is a list of my terms and conditions.
Less than 24 hours' notice or failure to show, you will have to pay for the appointment in full before I book you for another appointment.
I have a 15-minute grace period if you are running late. Any later than 15 minutes, I can no longer groom your dog as this has a knock-on effect with my other appointments. Again, you will have to pay for the missed appointment before booking in again.
Please be as prompt as you can when I've called or texted you that your dog is ready. Being very late picking your dog up has a knock-on effect with my other customers. Some dogs can be aggressive or timid towards other dogs, so I need a safe space for all dogs. If you are very late there may be an additional cost added.
Please be honest with me regarding health or behaviour issues. This gives me a better understanding of your dog and i can give them the best of my abilities. Any aggression shown and I think its best to terminate the groom for the safety of your dog and me, you will still be charged for the appointment.
I consider myself a very accommodating person, and of course I know some things can't be helped just give me a call and let me know. I have not enjoyed writing this post because i have a lot of respect and love for all my customers and my fabulous furry friends. All I ask for is a bit of notice that you can't make the appointment so I can offer it to someone else and everyone is happy.
