Hi everyone
I’m so sorry to all of you that I’ve had to reschedule this week. It has been a very scary week. On Friday I went to my GP thinking I had a normal eye infection. He referred me to the hospital as it turned out it was a dangerous eye infection which can be life threatening. I have no idea how I got it. After hours of tests including a CT scan, they gave me strong antibiotics and sent home to rest. I then had a reaction to the meds and ended up in hospital again. I feel so ill with it and am struggling to keep awake and function. I have had a strange tingling in my head since Sunday which goes all down my neck. The hospital have said this is just a symptom of the infection and it should go with antibiotics. I have just had an appointment with a private eye doctor to make sure there’s no lasting damage to my eye which thankfully there isn’t. He has said that this type of eye infection can really make you feel rotten for weeks so has advised me to rest until at least Monday. All appointments booked in for the rest of the week will be rescheduled for next week. I will message you all on Sunday to reschedule but please bear with me as I have a weeks worth appointments to rebook on top of what’s already booked in.
