Check your ponds for firework debris - the fireworks started early and went on well past 1am. High winds means a bigger debris area. So even our big stock tanks under shelter are at risk. If you find, obviously get out as fast and carefully as possible and if the powder leaks out then get your carbon sponges in.

Matt was explaining to the lady that we don't take in Terrapins any more due to the change in the pet licensing when he heard them moving in her carrier bags. He found she had travelled with them from East London with them in a shoe box. Cold and underweight and with them very likely to be dumped into the river (or bin) Matt decided to take them in until he can get them healthy again. Although their s*x is undecided Sam Fisher unintentionally gave them their names. Mary & Joseph.

L106 Inspector Snowflake Plecostomus, a step up from the standard plain colours of a bristlenose pleco, this L number plec has striking colours as well as a peaceful nature. They are a omnivores plec and will eat plenty of meat as well as cucumber, Alex feeds ours on a diet of NT Labs algae wafers as well as Hikari carnivore pellets.

One of the staples in the aquarium hobby,The birstle nose plec is a great addition for you tropical community tank as its completely peaceful and will scavenge the glass and plants of your tank looking for bits of algae although healfull bristlenoses can not live on tank algae alone. Alex feeds our plecs on Hikari algae wafers and cucumbers. plecs also need wood in there tank to aid in their digestion.

Pink Kissing Gourami in stock and looking good! Potential growth of around 5" and enjoy a mixed and varied diet. They get their name from two males competing for dominance as they lock their unique and oversized lips. Not usually a problem in a community tank medium to large sized unless you are intending to attempt a breeding program. 🎅🐬🐟🐠🐡🎅

Rescuing Robin Hood is a cooperative deck building game where all players cooperate as one to build their bands of Merry Men and storm the sheriff of Nottinghams castle. Please if you are buying fish for Christmas you must bring a water sample as we will not sell fish to new or virgin tanks without testing them safe for fish first. 🎅🎅🎅

So obviously with it being Christmas Eve today it's safe to say that some people will be celebrating by letting off fireworks. 🤔 Lets hope they don't shoot down Santa! on a serious note it looks like being another rubbish night for the furbabies - we left our anti fireworks kit out so that you can grab for tonight and for next week.

Vitalin dog food has been around since before Noah's Ark and despite all the new whipper snapper brands that have come along over the eons they have still survived. Not the next chapter in this venerable companies history has arrived and we are happy to be part of their continuing odyssey. Keep your eyes peeled as we will be giving out free samples of this excellent dog food next week! 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩
