Silver is a well put together mare with good limbs and correct straight movement. She stands just shy of 14.1 and is expected to make up to height 14.2.

Silver is a registered Connemara HWSD: N/HW my farrier has commented that she has excellent feet. Silver is well bred, by Lucas out of Knockaundarragh Beauty. Her back breeding contains many famous successful connemaras such as Laerkens Cascade Dawn, Earl of Castlefrench and New Beginning to name just a few.

Silver has been carefully and correctly handled, she is happy being stabled or living out and good with others in a herd.
Silver has been bitted in preparation for her first in hand show later this month. She is used to being groomed and picking her feet up. Silver has seen traffic and farm machinery, proving herself to bold and sensible.

Silver has great potential as a performance pony, she is athletic and level headed which will make her an ideal all rounder with potential to excel in show jumping or eventing. Silver is good to catch and load in a lorry or trailer.

My last video of all 4 foals together, weaning for the January born foal starts this weekend. We do a gradual weaning where the mare and foal are stabled next to each other but in separate stables overnight, and then turned out together during the day. This will reduce the amount the foal drinks and consequently lower milk production in the mare.

Of our 4 foals born this year, two have sold already. We have one purebred Connemara filly available, ready for weaning from the end of this month. And also one part bred Connemara c**t out of a showjumping ISH mare - although I’m very tempted to keep this one…he has sooo much presence about him. They are very friendly and well handled 😍🤩❤️

Silver - rising 3 yo, will be offered for new stable in the spring.
I’m spending time with Silver at the moment to make sure she is confident and calm picking up all 4 feet, that she is happy to be groomed, sprayed, trimmed, hosed and pulled. She is already happy stabled or living out. We have been walking around the farm to see all the goings on, get her used to tractors and cars. I will also make sure she is happy loading in trailer and lorry, then practice trotting in hand and standing still - we will be all ready for some in hand showing in the spring.
Silver has a great attitude and is happy to try new things. She is sensible and patient. Will make a super all round ridden horse in the future.

Connemara x sport horse c**t foal.

Sire is class 1 Connemara performance stallion. Dam (pictured) is 16.2 coloured eventing mare, she evented to novice as a 7yo with scope to go far, sadly had an injury so took couple years out for a foal. Mare is kind and brave. Sire (pictured) is laid back and easy going, he showjumped in Ireland and is by the famous templebready fear bui. The c**t, Lando, is bold and inquisitive, well handled and loves people. Sparkle is on a roll this week. Today supporting a wonderfully run local charity horse show: The Bluebell Show.
Sparkle entered the M&M and veteran with Lillia (this was Lillia's first show) they won both classes and then stood overall inhand champion. So proud of them both 🥰🥰 well done Lillia! Excited to see what you can achieve under saddle this autumn

I'm chuffed to bits with my 2 connemara girls at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show earlier this week. My homebred filly Crossoaks Amidala attended her second ever show and first county show, she was a star, taking everything in her stride, standing on the lorry all day and getting second place in the connemara youngstock.
My beautiful old girl Sparkle, 18 years young was on top form today. She sadly turned out not to be in foal this year as originally planned so is now coming back into work. Sparkle really did me proud today, winning her connemara adult class, winning the connemara championship and then reserve reserve in the supreme mountain and moorland championship. Sparkle Soon (I love you melody x Quilica Silver).

14.1 13yo Connemara mare by Tempo Cashel with 4 week old black filly foal at foot. Foal is Crossoaks Luminara by Oaklands Satyricon, Class 1, N/N supreme ridden and whp champion breed show/nps and multiple HOYS and RIHS finalist. Before retiring through injury the mare had a brilliant ridden career excelling at showjumping where she obtained bsja winnings of 114 points and she won the intro Grand Prix at ponies uk in 2017. She was also a wonderful allrounder looking after the smallest of jockeys, perfect stable manners and good to do in all respects
This foal is sure to have a bright future ahead of herself and with her breeding should excel either jumping or showing and would likely make for an awesome whp. Foal is halter broken and used to being handled. The mare cannot be ridden again but is sound for breeding and had no problems carrying this foal. She foaled unaided and is a great mother.
I would like them to go together as a pair 5️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣
