A belated Happy New Year!
With all the excitement of Christmas and moving house, there always seems to be something more worthwhile to do than social media at the moment (well, ans always) and for once, I'm not fighting the urge to let things slide a little. You'll see less of me on here for a while, if not for always, but rest assured, I'm still out in these woods every day with these wonderful dogs 🐾💗

And that's a wrap!
Yesterday was my last day of walks for 2024 and today I'll be tying up the last of my admin jobs before 2 whole weeks off for Christmas 💝

I love how the dates have fallen this year as it means that Watson and I can really slow down and enjoy some time off together either side of our trip to York for a big family Christmas. This is our first time spending Christmas Day together as previous years have seen us spend it with our own families and I can't wait 🥰

As always, a massive thank you to all my lovely clients for another fantastic years of walks. I feel so lucky to be part of your lives and families and the kindness and love you've shown me this year has been so appreciated. Merry Christmas to you all and lots of love from Aislinn, Archie and Barney ###

I'll be honest with you, this is a hard post to write this month, but the thing that I'm feeling grateful for is the time I had with my stepfather, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last month.

I'm not going to sit here and say what a wonderful man he was because that wouldn't be fair to those of us that knew him. In truth, he was a difficult man, an ogre and a tyrant at times but I loved him regardless.

For all the pain he caused, he was also always there for me whenever I needed him, he was the first person I would call when I needed a pep talk or advice and he made sure that I knew how much he loved me, always.

So this December, I'm grateful for all the advice and wisdom he imparted on me over the years. I'm grateful that he taught me how to cook, how to use a drill, how to lay a fire, how to fish, how to shoot and eventually, how to set boundaries.

I'm grateful too that he might now be at peace and that with his transition, he will know that I loved him and that I'm sorry for not getting to tell him once last time.

What a bunch 😍
I'm blessed to walk some really awesome dogs and I hope photos like captures just some of the joy they bring to my days. Yes there's mud, and rain and flat tyres, and traffic and sometimes there are some really frightful people, but this is always the best job in the world 💘

I'm forever grateful for Daisy's little coat 😆 This little cutie is such a mud magnet but at least with her coat on, the mud is (mostly) contained to her paws!
