I am so sorry I am closed at the moment as I have had to have my beautiful Gracie pts. So please could you find a another Hedgehog Rescue to help you. I am totally heart broken 😪😪😪

Please bear with me over the nexted few days all my energy will be going into my beautiful Gracie as I need to to there for her. I will not at this moment in time be taking any hedgehogs. I will be taking care of the ones I have in the rescue. It a very hard decision to make but one I must, I do hope you all unstand.

Gracie has had a good nigth. Has eaten alittle bit this morning and we are now just waiting to set off for the vets. Managed to caught a wee sample from her. All I can think about is how we lost our Molly to Leukaemia 8 years ago she was given about 3 months but with treatment lived 10 months longer before she deteriorated and we had to make the decision to pts. 😪 xx

Had a lovely visit to St Joseph's Catholic Ptimary School this morning, thank you Lauren for asking us to visit, Wallis and Monty were on their best behaviour. The children were wonderful 🦔

Update on the little hoglet weighting 74g he is now 96g

He is still very weak but you wouldn't believe I have just cleaned him out!!!

This little hoglet came in early tea time full of flystrike, wobbling and dehydrated also falling over has he is so weak only weighting 98g. Fluids giving, all the eggs removed and put in incubator to warm up before giving his a feed. After he had warmed up he had about 2ml of lactose free kitten milk and a small dish of milk put in the incubator. He did his best to feed himself out of a dish. He has had a top up feed and fingers crossed he is still with in the morning 🤞🤞🤞

Morning all! I have had a few days away to recharge my batteries. And the rescue is open again.
Oakley came into the rescue on the 15th July weighting 63g under 12 days old. It has been touch and go with him, but there's something about him that makes me wonder if he will ever go back to the wild. He is now 600g but he is coming in the day eating and just walking around. So I decided to put him in my secure bit of my garden to see if the is out in the night will tiring him out. I have a camera on him and so far he as stopped in the house. This video is his 1st time ever looked at outside world..
