We are proud to add another extremely talented individual to the list of amazing artists that we work alongside

South Yorkshire artist, Rachael has always had a passion for drawing, she graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a bachelor's degree in Fine Art - Drawing and Painting in 2009, and now works as a full-time artist.

She works in either graphite, or artist's coloured pencils to create realistic portraits providing a strong likeness and sense of character.

In order to fully reflect a subject's identity Rachael asks for multiple photographs, along with a description about a pet's personality so that she can build a clear image of them in her mind, and translate this into her work.

The unique difference with Rachael’s work is that backgrounds are incorporated within the work to further reference a pet's character and to add a sense of narrative and drama."

This is all done through correspondence with you the owner to create a truly fantastic and unique keepsake

"Here are my beautiful 3 year old cocker spaniels. They're brother and sister (bilbo blue collar and vala orange) I'm so sad and heartbroken to make this but I believe it's the best thing for them. I was always told I couldn't have children so I put my time and money into these beautiful dogs as my babies, however by a miracle I've managed to have a baby! She was born in July 2024. Motherhood definitely is different and I have been struggling with depression after birth. I can see my dogs really haven't found it easy with a baby and think they struggle not having my full attention as i cant give them want they want or need anymore which makes me feel awful. The main reason ive had to make this decision is my baby has time in and out of hospital and told it's a reaction to my dogs fur which makes it even harder for me to be around my dogs too. These are amazing, caring and beautiful pedigree dogs. They're best friends, great on walks (bilbo does have some anxiety) but they just want love and attention but unfortunately I can't do that for them anymore. I want them to have all the love like before and must stay together I paid £5000 for both dogs, however I'm not here for the money, I just want them to stay together in a loving home. I'd also like to find someone who's willing to stay in contact with me so I can continue to see them grow from time to time.
