**HOME FOUND**
We're still searching for a home. 30 days to go guys, please don't let us down. Unfortunately, many people asked for an application form but did not return them! Please only apply if you're serious!
Meet beautiful Simba 😍 a one year old male XL Bully. Unfortunately, Simba is searching for a new home through no fault of his own, he's just simply to strong!
Simba has had three sessions with Chase Canines so far. He has began muzzle training, control at doorways, worked on settle/place cues, began loose lead walking and recall work. His new home must use positive methods, pack leaders, alphas, prong collars all of that bo****ks will NOT be welcome.
He can be left comfortably for an hour and a half, further time would need to be worked up gradually. Simba has grown up around young children, so would be suitable for dog savy children aged 7+, who don't mind being knocked over every now and again! He is good with other dogs but hasn't quite grasped the boundaries of when to stop playing 😆for this reason I'd suggest only dog currently, but absolutely must have a few dog friends he can play with outside the home, with a high chance of introducing another dog into the home at a later date if you wished. No cats please.
He is not currently neutered but this must be done legally before the the 30th of June 2024. He is up to date on all vaccinations, and flea and worm treatments. You absolutely must register for exemption and follow the new Dangerous Dogs Act laws.
Simba is just a gorgeous dog, he's very affectionate. He loves to play with absolutely anyone and anything! He'd make a fantastic family dog. Unfortunately, with the ban coming into place we only have until the 31st of December to find Simba a new home.
There will be a £150 rehoming fee. You must complete an application form, pass a home visit and conduct a minimum of two meet and greets before taking him home. Following going home, you must complete a minimum of two training sessions with Chasecanines.co.uk whether in person or online.
Any negative comments will be deleted. The rehoming discussion took place well before the ban, however this new law has forced this wonderful lady's hand.
If you're interested in adopting Simba please email [email protected] for an application form. Likewise, if any REPUTABLE rescues can offer a space please email me.
