This evening we went to see Elf at MK theatre. For those with children /grandchildren it really is a great show. The children in the audience loved it.. We threw snowballs and saw santa fly 😍🎅🎅

A couple of weeks ago I met a cuddly rescue pooch called Bailey, his 2 kitty siblings and his lovely hoomans.

This boy is so pretty 😍😍😍 just wait until you meet him 💞💕

I am so lucky to have been invited to be his housemate 💙💖

I can't wait to introduce you to Winston one of the new furry faces to the Waggy family 😁 (Just a little wait to December)

We have spent a couple of hours together today..A bit of a play in the garden and walkies...he was such a good boy!!

We won't mention the leg hu***ng 🤣 needless to say he likes me 🤣🤣

He is a really beautiful pooch 😍 watch this space ❤️

Last night we got pooch sorted as best we could, and popped into the back garden just outside the back door.. for 5 minutes to enjoy some of Hall Park fireworks display..the wind was in tbe wrong direction for us to hear the music. Hubby called me from the decking to say the view there was much better 😆.. It will be my viewing platform next year.

Today I went to a craft class in the Galleria Burton Latimer. I thought it would be a couple of hours.. Turns out it was an all day event.

Struggled through and lost the will some points during the day.. Not the teaching... I had both the covid booster and flu jab the other day which floored me yesterday.. so moving the arms were a challenge and feeling a tad unwell still..... I did end up with some kind of animal 🤣

Sergio checking it out.. Not yet peed on it so that's a good sign 😁🤣

Worth a visit as they have some nice bits in the shop and do so many craft sessions

There is Lots going on this weekend that will light up the sky...

DIWALI celebrations started yesterday and will continue today as soon as the sky turns dark

Santa pod have their display this evening with the fireworks starting 7.30pm

The vet's is a scary place... Lenny did very well, and to the delight of the vet has lost weight 😝 another 500g and he will be spot on 👌😊

It is likely to be a few weeks of Fireworks ahead of us.

Lenny cat has no problems with them and will enjoy them through the window...

Sergio is a pooch that finds them terrifying.

We keep calm, ensure he is in a safe space, reassured and all of the below are in place to try support him the best we can

We have tried many methods and they don't seem to work for him, however may for your pooch.

- walkies before it gets dark.

- curtains open and curtains closed ( now they are closed on firework nights)

-make available an enclosed space or den (we use a couple of tall stools and a big blanket at the bottom of the stairs as it is his go too place)

- calming medication and plug ins ( we have adaptil and bach rescue)

- thunder vest ( ours is from Amazon, the link posted a couple of weeks ago)

- classical music ( Amazon music have classical for pets play list, utube have playlists for pets and classic fm play pet classicals on bonfire night)

- firework sounds... (alexa... If you ask her to play firework sounds on the run up to firework season)

- cover pooches ears (you can buy snoods online but you can use an old sock with the foot cut out to make a tube or sleeve chopped from an old jumper)

In the past we played music very very loud and danced around the kitchen clapping and singing to distract pooch.. We were bloody shattered after 🤣🤣

I have today seen Sky have a TV channel for dogs and thought I would share... Info below 🙂

Lenny Cat is off to the vets today for his annual booster. He hates going into the carrier and screams for the whole car journey,.
