It's been a busy day at Spaniel Aid, with new dogs going up for adoption after the festive break.

You can see more details about all of them at https://spanielaid.co.uk/available-dogs/ but here's a summary:

Wilson: 2 year old cocker in West Sussex, yes to cats, children 12+ A very sweet and cuddly boy who loves attention and is very well behaved.

Ted: **Reserved** 2 year old springer in Chester, no to cats, children 12+ A beautiful, good-natured, gentle boy, with a lovely temperament. He loves lots of cuddles and belly rubs, and snuggling up on the sofa with you.

Willow: 4 ½ year old Sprocker in East Yorks, no cats, no children. A very sweet girl, loves to be outside sniffing and she enjoys her walks, but she is also happy being inside having a cuddle and a back scratch.

Marley: **Reserved**6 ½ year old cocker in Milton Keynes, yes to cats, children 12+ Marley is a very loving, affectionate dog, who loves nothing more than chasing a ball outside. He is full of energy and is always ready to go out for an adventure.

Sasha: 4 year old cocker in Malvern, no to cats, children 5+ Sasha is a very loving dog who needs constant company and can be nervous, but is a happy playful dog who is friendly to people and other dogs.

Ralph: nearly 3 year old cocker, North London, no to cats and children, Ralph is an affectionate, playful young dog with a heart full of love, always eager for cuddles and playtime with people he knows and trusts, but easily overwhelmed with new people and situations.

Molly and Callie: nearly 2 and 15 months, cocker and sprocker, Mansfield Notts, yes to cats, children 12+ These gorgeous girls are extremely friendly and will charm everyone they meet. Bright and affectionate, but want their human around most of the time.

Hudson: nearly 3 year old sprocker, West Sussex, no to cats and children. A fun loving, exuberant young dog who loves human company and playing with other dogs. Needs an understanding home that will give him the time he needs to blossom.

Russ

Due to no fault of his own Russ didn't get his happy ever after and is now back up for adoption. His potential Pawrents had a change in circumstances and was unable to offer Russ what he needed. Luckily for everyone this handsome young man is back on the market and looking for that special family so please keep sharing.

Holly.

Holly D2025-01
• Holly can be an only dog with doggy friends
• Could also live with other dogs
• Not cat or small furry tested but young enough to learn
• Active home required as she needs both physical and mental stimulation
• Needs to attend puppy class
Holly is a 10 week old Cocker Spaniel described by her foster mum as a beautiful girl, great with people in the home and visitors, all she wants is to play and have cuddles. She has only had her 1st Vaccination so hasn't been out on a walk.
Holly has a cute little bark and sharp teeth being a pup. She loves to follow foster mum around so you must be vigilant as she will be under your feet before you know it. If foster mum opens a packet of any kind Holly is there thinking it's something yummy for her. She has learned to sit as she knows she has a treat as a reward for doing really well.
She is good with other dogs, all she wants to do is play, and she will adjust to being around small furries due to her age. She plays with toys on her own and with other dogs. Also plays tug with foster mum, and chases a ball in the garden. She is doing really well on a harness and lead in the garden, but will need to attend puppy classes.
She can be homed with children, but they must be mindful of her sharp teeth so I would say above 5 years old.
Holly sleeps downstairs in an open crate or upstairs during the night. During the day she will sleep on a dog bed in the living room.
House training is a work in progress. It's hit and miss with a puppy pad but she is getting there. And will go out the garden if foster mum is out there.
She is fine eating around other dogs, and taking treats.
Holly has an active body and brain and will need to attend puppy class to help her be a well rounded rescue ambassador. She can be an only dog with doggy friends or live with other dogs. She would fit into most families but is going to be quite active. Neutering and training agreement
1st Vaccs, microchipped and up to date flea and wormer
Comes with 5 weeks free Agria pet insurance
Fostered in

Milo.

🙏Hello, Milo here. It's a bit cheeky but as it's the season of goodwill to all Springers, I'm here to ask you to be my sponsor.

It’s tough being four and knowing that I’m going to need a lifetime of treatment to keep me alive and able to enjoy my life. Apparently I have a heart murmur with severe sub-aortic stenosis type 2 and considerable left ventricular hypertrophy, which sounds serious and indeed it is. Put more simply, this is a narrowing of the valves of my heart and a thickening of the walls of my heart, all of which needs constant monitoring. I have regular echocardiograms (ultrasound scans) to make sure I’m on the right medication and I visit the vet every three months so they can make sure my lungs are clear.

I'm in a NWESSR long-term foster home where I am very happy, well-cared for and much loved, but I do need funding to cover costs for medical care.

Please help me live my best life by sponsoring me:

Thank you, Milo ###
