Today was my last day with my pal Mac, who I've looked after since he was a pup.

I've grown very fond of Mac, who is one of the gentlest dogs that I've ever met. He's been absolutely brilliant from day one!

Mac and his owner, Kris, are moving to Paisley, so at least it's not too far to go to visit him.

I wish them all the best in their new home.

Lexi and Rocco had a lovely walk together in Linn Park this morning. Lexi's new found fame, following her appearance in the Daily Record, hasn't gone to her head!

Yesterday was a sad day, as I had to say goodbye to my big pal, the gorgeous Nakayla.

Although I stopped looking after Nakayla when Joyce, her devoted owner, moved to Uddingston, I still absolutely loved going over for a walk with her.

Unfortunately, she hadn't been in the best of health recently and had to be put to sleep at lunchtime yesterday.

I'm so grateful to have had some brilliant days with Nakayla and for Joyce giving me the opportunity to spend time with her yesterday morning.

You were a great pal Nakayla and I'll never forget you. 🌈 ###

Happy Birthday to my wee pal Rocco, who is one today. Rocco has been an absolute star over the last few months and we've had great fun together.

Rocco has also, without doubt, become my own dog Finn's best buddy.

After a year without any new dogs , two have joined the Safe & Sound family in the space of a week. A warm welcome to Rocco and Mac, who have already proved to be great fun.

Rocco, an eight month old Cavapoo, and Mac, a four month old Border Collie, are both lovely dogs.

We'll have a brilliant time together!
