📣 Important Update: New Rates & Booking Policy from January 2026🐾
Hi all,
Firstly, a big thank you for trusting us to care for your lovely dachshunds - it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you and your sausages over the past couple of years!
Since launching Dachs And Stay, we’ve worked hard to create a home-from-home experience designed especially for dachshunds. As the business has grown and we’ve gained more experience, we now have a clearer understanding of the time, energy, and love that goes into each day. To reflect this, we’ll be updating our prices and policies from 1st January 2026.
🐶Updated Rates (from Jan 2026):
⚫️ Half Day Care (up to 4.5 hours) £20
⚫️ Full Day Care (up to 8 hours) £30
⚫️ Overnight Boarding (24 hours) £38
⚫️ Bank Holidays +20% surcharge on the above rates
⚫️ Late collection (beyond agreed time) £6 per additional hour
All bookings made before 31st December 2025 will be honoured at our current rates. The new rates apply only to bookings made for 2026 onwards. Any existing bookings in 2026 will be at our current rates.
📆 New Booking & Cancellation Policy (from January 2026):
To help manage the growing number of bookings and reduce last-minute changes, a deposit and updated cancellation terms will be introduced:
⚫️ A 25% non-refundable deposit will now be required to secure all bookings.
⚫️ The remainder is due at drop off or in advance, if preferred.
⚫️ Cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice: Deposit can be transferred to a future booking.
⚫️ Cancellations within 48 hours: The full payment will be due.
