Lizzie’s time at the Olive Ridley Project has now come to an end….

Well sort of come to an end.. There is a slight issue of a hurricane so she is not allowed to fly off the Ireland at the moment 🤣!

🐢 Lizzie’s Adventures Continues…. 🐢

This morning Lizzie left for her second adventure of 2024. Lizzie has gone to take part in the Olive Ridley Project in (drum roll….) the Maldives!😫.

The Olive Ridley Project is on a mission to protect sea turtles and their habitats through rescue, rehabilitation, research, education and outreach.

Before going Lizzie’s has had to complete turtle school and a scuba diving course.

We are all very jealous and love how Lizzie is making the most of life and her new qualification. Have fun!

♥️ Lizzie update♥️

We had a phone call on Tuesday to say Lizzie was unconscious and on her way to hospital after she had been on a boat trip 🤦🏼‍♀️ we were all very worried about her. Lizzie was put on IV Fluids and in true Lizzie style she came round got her self out of hospital and 48 hrs later she went sky diving!

Lizzie’s two weeks are coming to an end and she has packed as much as possible into those two weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️. She has gained new skills and fulfilled the dream of working with Sloths.

Lizzie’s next adventure is in August 2024 wait till you see what she has planned next! 🐢 🌴

We will all be very pleased to have her back safe and sound this week 😊

♥️Lizzie update♥️

So after spending 15 hours travelling by plane and waiting in airports to then have a 2 hour drive to the rainforest Lizzie has eventually made it to her location.

As you can see the first morning there has been 🥰.

She is very brave to travel that far all by herself

🦜 Lizzie’s Adventures 🦜

As you all know our little Lizzie qualified this year as a Vet Nurse. Lizzie loves to travel and loves adventures! This morning Lizzie has jetted off on her first adventure of 2024.

Lizzie is taking part in a 2 week Vet Nurse Internship in…… Costa Rica!

She will be staying in a Rainforest in Costa Rica where she will be learning about and looking after animals such as Sloths, Jaguars , Macaw’s, Monkeys and Tapirs.

We are hoping to share some pictures with you all of her experience and what she has been up to ♥️.

We would like to wish Lizzie a safe journey and we hope she enjoys every second of this fantastic opportunity and experience.

We are very proud Lizzie. ♥️

We have had a female tortie cat brought into the clinic today. She was found on Parkstone Road, Irlam and she is microchipped but the chip is not registered.

As from the 10th of June 2024 it will become law that all cats should be microchipped by 20 weeks of age.

If you need your cat microchipping we will do this at the discounted rate of £15.

❤️ Guess what Rupert did today ❤️

Rupert has Spina Bifida and as you know he has had spinal surgery.

The treadmill is an excellent form of exercise for Rupert as it is low impact, it is a controlled environment and the aim is to build up muscle and rehabilitate him

Rupert loved it 😍
