Professional event yard and world renowned stud based in Landford. Home to 5* event riders Kirsty & Arthur Chabert and her team. We have a range of horses from foals to 5*eventers, and offer a wide range of services including a variety of livery options, as well as teaching all abilities of riders. We have great facilities and are in the perfect location to access many events. We also offer our stallions for breeding purposes, as we love to see the Opposition gene develop.

Unfortunatly, it was not the result we had hoped for yesterday.... They were tough conditions for Daisy's first 5* and after an early mistake I made the decision to save her for another day. We are both fit and safe and ready to fight another day which is the most important thing 🥰 she loved her first experience of the big time and her time will come!

A massive well done to and all the other riders, the great British weather made it a tough day for us all!

Thank you for all of the support over the last couple of weeks, it doesn't go unoticed and it is very much appreciated!

Beautiful Betty flicking her toes yesterday 😍

We scored 30.8 to sit in 12th position at the end of dressage going into the jumping phases. I couldn't have asked more from her, she tried her heart out for me but was just a little tense due to the electric atmosphere in the arena!

A big thank you to a Jodie Philips for helping us so much recently in this phase 😘

Bring on tommorrow 💪🏻🤞🏻We go XC at 2.08pm 🇺🇸 time / 7.08pm 🇬🇧

A busy weekend for Team Opp starting off at Moreton. Rose was double clear in the Novice. Belle owned by Nicole Pearson did a super test and a clear SJ but we decided to save her for some slightly better ground in a few weeks.
Edna did a nice test and good Showjumping but she is entered for Munstead next weekend so we saved her for that.
Louise Perrin our new student did her first event in the UK with a fab double clear, and Izzi Kirk Eventing finished in 2nd on her new Opposition Aquarius in the first 100 together.

Today Izzy headed back to Moreton for her first turn as 2nd rider for Team Opp taking the babies out to their first event. Both are part of the Opposition Club, Eddie was very excited to be out at a party so he just did dressage and SJ! Opposition Fidelity was super, and a total machine XC! Opposition Consort owned by Lisa Pritchard did a very smart test just unfortunately adding 4 time to their XC round which knocked them down to 7th, but still a great result!

Whilst Izzy was at Moreton, I headed up to Lincoln where Rocket was DC in the Intermediate, Daisy was DC and 10th in the OI and Betty 10th in the OI.
Unfortunately Holly never made it off of the wait list so she went for a jolly up there and back again! A big thank you to Chris Schepens for driving the truck up for me and to the whole team at home for working out the logistics of getting 14 horses out of the yard over the weekend!! A massive team effort 👏🏻

Rocket was EPIC 🚀 she totally rose to the occasion and loved the atmosphere at The London International Horse Show Thank you so much for having us, it was great fun, and an honour to be part of it! Tom McEwen Eventing was a great pairing (shame he couldn't keep the poles up 😜😂) but what an amazing night!! Well done to Rachael Ward for making Rocket sparkle to win the best dressed horse award ✨

A bit of a late event report from Bicton last weekend but Arthur and JK (Opposition Vogue) owned by Penny Scott and Caroline Rees finished a brilliant 11th in her first 2* in a HUGE class. A big well done to them both in testing conditions 👏🏻👏🏻

Back home from what can only be explained as an amazing Arville. WTTL Opposition Sky Law yet again gave me the most incredible ride XC to finish 4th in the ERM 4*, it was a seriously hot field of competitors so to finish 4th behind 3 phenomenal riders - Jonelle Tim and Burto I am chuffed to bits. I also had the pleasure of watching a friend and ‘student’ making some dreams come true. Short video of a few bits of Barney's dressage yesterday in the Advanced Medium at Crofton - although we were both a little rusty and made a couple of big mistakes he still scored a respectable 66.7%.
