Had a few reports of travellers in some of the usual walking spots so today's dogs have all been upgraded to bark park.

I've never had a bad experience with them, however, I'm not taking the risk.

So if your dogs are out with me today, they're safe but we're out a little longer.

Here we are now : see pics

Out with the dream team, the poor weather is coming and I'm all in for it.

Fewer people around to bother us on our adventure.

🐾 Praying to the pet gods for a break here 🐾

Quick update folks.
Friday the van went to the van hospital for surgery.
Unfortunately it had to have a clutch replacement.
£750 deducted from the kids Xmas fund.

Saturday I banged my pinky toe on the coffee table. (Keep your comments to yourselves people, this is a family friendly page.
Sometimes)

The plan was to use Amy's car on Monday and just do more walks today
And try not to cry from the pain.

We thank her for the sacrifice of her luscious interior but that didn't happen.

Amy had a blow out on the way back from ayr yesterday and so we had arranged a mobile tyre fitter to come out.
That was swiftly cancelled due to the quite being 293 quid.

So her car was abandoned and left til today, and I managed to get the van back from the garage around 11.
I drove 2 minutes up the road and pop went the clutch. Again.
Awesome.

Luckily I spotted jade from The Dog Unit - Dog Walking & Drop In Services and flagged her down for a lift back to the garage (us dog walkers look after each other)

Anyway, the mechanic came up, confirmed it was goosed and we turned the van round and rolled it back down to the garage.

Then we headed over to get Amy's tyre sorted to the tune of 100 quid. (Far sight better than last night's chancer)
Only to find the car had 1 percent battery in it. And had to go to a charge point.

There was two cars already on, one had a guy asleep in it but upon further inspection through his window he was fully charged so I politely woke him up and he was fuming.

After calmly explaining it's a charge point, not a motel, he grudgingly shifted his bed out the way for me to get plugged in.

Around 6pm this evening I finally got home and had achieved the grand total of f**k all today

I've been advised that the van will be sorted by tomorrow evening so the dogs will be out in the car with us tomorrow

All in all were down £850 quid and a pinky toe.

See pics and videos for your amusement. Send sympathy

🐾 Thursday Bark Park 🐾

Here we have ...(deep breath) ...
Nala, Shadow, Zak, Coe, Alfie, Arya, bear, regi, Paco, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Thursday is when we pile as many dogs as we can into the car and the van and head out to an open field for an hour of free fun.

This is amazing for those energetic dogs, as well as the sniffers.

Physical exercise is the bare minimum for keeping a dog happy and content. But on a walk we're usually getting from point a to point b so the sniffers get moved along sometimes.

Sniffing is as mentally stimulating for a dog as a crossword is to us and so it's important that those scent driven dogs get that mental stimulation too.
Coe, Shadow, Nala, and Alfie are all scent driven so the bark park is like Christmas to them.

The noise they make as soon as they realise we're going to the bark park is unreal.

Bark park is £13.50 but that little extra helps to cover costs of booking the field as some can be expensive but that usually includes pup cups and extra rewards and treats too

Introducing ..... Rush and Chilli. 🐾

These two guys are from the same household, and we walk these two and their sister Charm separately so as to give them all some undivided attention.

Chilli is sometimes reactive to other dogs so when we're not on a brisk walk we get the long line out and chase balls together.
If you see me with Chilli, please don't approach. He can be a little grumpy at times but I promise you he's a sweetheart.

Rushy is a ball of energy and loves to chase balls, and on the rare occasion I don't have one he will steal someone else's and refuse to give it back 😂😂😂

Watch this space, I'll show you charm soon

Meet Coe. 🐾

This was last week.
Coe's mummy told us she's been very snappy and huffy cos of the fireworks so instead of taking her with the group, Amy took Coe for a special little solo date.

They walked for over an hour round Eglinton park and then got the treats and pup cups on the go at the cafe before taking her home for some cuddles

We know when she's in one of her little moods, Because she has been out with us for well over a year now and she's just the cutest, most loving little Tasmanian devil we've ever met.
