At Walking With Woofs, we prioritize the safety and well-being of the dogs we walk. That's why we have a strict policy of always keeping the dogs on a leash when other dogs are present, regardless of their behavior. This rule ensures that we can maintain control over the dogs and prevent any potential conflicts or accidents. The only exception to this rule is when we are in an open field engaged in activities such as playing fetch, where there are no other dogs around. It can be frustrating for us to see other owners not following this important safety measure, as it puts their dogs and others at risk. We are committed to upholding this policy to ensure the safety of the dogs in our care.

At Walking With Woofs, we strive to support our customers in any way we can. Recently, Tilly's owner had to visit her parents in the hospital, and we were able to step in and care for Tilly for 3 hours on short notice. We made sure Tilly received the attention and comfort she needed during this time. Our priority is always the well-being of the pets in our care, and we were happy to provide this assistance. We also want to extend our well wishes to those in the hospital and hope for a speedy recovery. After Tilly's walk, we ensured she had a peaceful and restful time. Thank you for entrusting us with your pets' care.

Max and Lola are currently in the care of Walking With Woofs for a 10-day period. They are receiving plenty of walks and are displaying a high level of excitement during their stay. Feeding is being taken care of, so there is no need to worry about their nutrition. It is hoped that their owners are enjoying their time away, while the current weather is less than desirable. Walking With Woofs is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all dogs in their care, and Max and Lola are no exception. Their well-being is the top priority during their stay.

Hello, Walking With Woofs community! We are thrilled to introduce Willow, who is currently enjoying a lovely two-week stay with Bear. Willow's owners are off to the States for a well-deserved holiday, and we are happy to report that both dogs are getting along famously. They love playing, going for walks, and snuggling up together for a good night's sleep. It's heartwarming to see them bond and bring each other joy during Willow's stay. We are grateful for the opportunity to care for Willow and provide her with a loving environment while her owners are away. Thank you for entrusting us with your precious furry family member.

So, the three musketeers, Finn, Huckleberry, and Rocky, decided to have a little river fiesta. They were splashing around, being all cute and doggy-like, when Huckleberry got it into his little doggy brain that he needed to move the biggest rock in the river. Well, let's just say he may have overestimated his paw strength and ended up with a little boo-boo. But hey, at least they're getting some practice in for their upcoming Sport's Day on Friday! Maybe they can sign up for the rock lifting competition. Stay tuned for more doggy shenanigans!

Tilly has shown significant improvement in her confidence and is now more comfortable exploring new areas outside of her usual comfort zone. This is a positive sign of growth and development in her behavior. It is important to continue encouraging and supporting Tilly as she ventures out to new locations around town. By gradually exposing her to different environments, she will continue to build her confidence and adaptability. It's important for Tilly's handler to provide reassurance and positive reinforcement during these outings to further boost her confidence. With time and patience, Tilly will continue to thrive and enjoy her newfound freedom to explore new areas.

Ally was strutting his stuff today on his fabulous new walking route. He was lapping up all the new sights and smells, making sure to leave his mark on every lamppost along the way. He even managed to impress a few fellow canine walkers with his impeccable leash manners and charming wag of the tail. It was like he was the mayor of the neighborhood, greeting everyone with a sniff and a tail wag. And let's not forget the sheer joy he felt when he stumbled upon a particularly stinky garbage can - that was definitely the highlight of his day. Watch out, world, Ally is taking over the streets!

Oh, Toby is just beside himself with excitement! He's practically doing backflips at the thought of going hiking later this week. I mean, who wouldn't be thrilled about climbing their favorite hill again, right? It's like his own personal Everest, except with way more interesting smells. And let me tell you, he is definitely bringing his A-game on today's walk because of that amazing news. He's probably strutting around with his tail held high, like he's the king of the jungle or something. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he finally hits the trail. It's going to be epic!

Max and Lola had another adventure today, and let me tell you, Lola was living her best life! She was all about that river action, splashing around like she owned the place. Meanwhile, Max was just like, "Eh, I'm just here for the walk." But then Lola struck gold - or rather, a lost ball from an earlier outing with Finn, Huckleberry, and Rocky. Talk about a jackpot! I have a feeling she's going to try and milk that for some extra gravy bones tomorrow. I mean, can you blame her? She's a savvy negotiator when it comes to treats. Watch out, world, Lola's on the ball (literally)!

Oh boy, these three troublemakers are at it again! Finn, Huckleberry, and Rocky are gearing up for another epic Sports Day, and you know what that means – it's fetch time! These guys can't get enough of chasing after that tennis ball in the field. They're like a bunch of hyperactive toddlers on a sugar rush, I swear. But hey, who am I to rain on their parade? It's all in good fun, and they definitely bring the entertainment factor. Let's just hope they don't get too carried away and end up running circles around the whole neighbourhood. Stay tuned for the chaos, folks!

So, there Tilly was, minding her own business, when along comes this overzealous pup named Ally, ready to smother her with kisses. Tilly was like, "Whoa there, buddy, personal space much?" Meanwhile, Ally was all like, "Hi, new friend, let's be besties!" But Tilly was not having it, she was anxious and not in the mood for all that slobbery affection. It was like watching a rom-com gone wrong. But hey, who knows, maybe Tilly will come around and they'll end up being the best of pals. Stay tuned for the drama!

During their first meeting at Walking With Woofs, Toby and Bear experienced some moments of frustration as they adjusted to each other's presence. However, as the walk progressed, they were able to settle and begin to enjoy each other's company. It is not uncommon for dogs to feel some initial unease when meeting new canine companions, as they establish their social hierarchy and boundaries. Over time, many dogs are able to develop positive relationships with one another, finding comfort and enjoyment in each other's presence. This process can be facilitated with proper guidance and supervision from experienced handlers, who can help the dogs acclimate to each other and build a strong, positive bond.

Well, I bet Bear was probably telling some "pawsitively" hilarious jokes! Maybe something about a squirrel walking into a bar or a catnip addict needing a "meowtervention." As for his walks, it sounds like he's been living his best doggy life, exploring ponds and rivers and getting rewarded with some tasty treats. I mean, who wouldn't laugh and wag their tail at that? Keep up the good work, Bear! And keep those jokes coming - we could all use a good chuckle these days. And maybe save a mcnugget or two for me next time!

On a hot day, it's important to ensure that pets have access to clean water and a way to cool down. Taking them to a river or a body of water where they can splash and play fetch is a great way for them to cool off. It's also important to provide them with fresh water to drink at all times. This helps prevent dehydration and heatstroke, especially on hot days. Keeping a close eye on their behavior for signs of overheating, such as excessive panting or lethargy, is crucial. Overall, providing opportunities for pets to cool off and stay hydrated is essential for their well-being on a hot day.

Exploring new routes and venturing to the outskirts of a familiar hometown can be beneficial for a dog like Ally. It provides mental stimulation and exercise, which are essential for a dog's overall well-being. By encountering different sights, sounds, and smells, Ally can enhance his sensory experiences and keep his mind engaged. Additionally, exploring new routes can help Ally build confidence and adaptability, as he learns to navigate unfamiliar terrain. It also allows for a change of scenery and can prevent boredom or restlessness. However, it's important for Ally's safety to ensure that he doesn't stray too far and remains within familiar and safe areas.

Oh, Max and Lola are really getting into shape! I bet they're ready to take on their first Sports Day on Friday like never before. And Max pulling out the roly poly? Classic move. I think he's definitely hinting at adding a new event to Sports Day. Maybe we'll have a roly poly relay or a competitive roly poly competition. Who knows, maybe it'll become the highlight of the whole day! I can already picture the other dogs rolling around and having a blast. Sports Day just got a whole lot more interesting with Max and his roly poly. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds!

So last week, Finn, Huckleberry, and Rocky decided to let loose and burn off some energy in the open field. And let me tell you, it was a sight to see. Rocky, the rebel of the group, was actually behaving himself off the lead and listening to commands, while Finn was just off doing his own thing. Typical Finn. But despite all that, they still managed to have a blast playing with the ball together. It's like a sitcom out there, I swear. I can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans they get into next time!

Last week, Toby ventured deeper into the woods and encountered a baby deer. Despite his instincts urging him to chase after it, Toby refrained from doing so. It's important to note that chasing wildlife can be dangerous for both the animal and the dog. If the deer had felt threatened, it could have injured Toby in self-defense. Additionally, dogs chasing wild animals can disrupt their natural behaviors and cause unnecessary stress. It's commendable that Toby showed restraint and respected the wildlife. It's crucial for dog owners to always keep their pets under control in natural environments to ensure the safety of both the animals and the dog.

Ally visited the pond today to observe the ducks. He opted to stay at a safe distance from the water's edge and did not enter the pond. Instead, he relished the picturesque view of the tranquil setting. Dogs, similar to humans, can benefit from spending time in nature, as it can have a calming effect and provide mental stimulation. Additionally, interacting with other animals, such as ducks, can offer socialization opportunities and enrich a dog's overall well-being. Given the relaxation and enjoyment Ally experienced at the pond, it's evident that outdoor excursions can contribute positively to a dog's quality of life.

Tilly successfully made it back down to the running track today, demonstrating progress in overcoming her nervousness around roads. Although she still exhibits some anxiety in this setting, she has been gradually pushing her limits and venturing further each time. With each successful attempt, Tilly is showing promising signs of improvement. The goal is for her to make it down to the river tomorrow, which would mark a significant achievement in her journey to conquer her fears. It's important to continue to encourage and support Tilly as she works to build confidence and comfort in new environments.

Huckleberry and Rocky are gearing up for an upcoming Sports Day by diligently practicing their respective skills. Rocky is focusing on improving his pace, while Huckleberry is honing his ball skills. Both pups are making the most of their time in the open field, enjoying the space to themselves. However, they are feeling the absence of their friend, Finn, who is not able to join them today. The pups are determined and dedicated to improving their abilities for the upcoming Sports Day, and are making the most of their practice sessions to ensure they are ready to perform at their best.

Today, Max and Lola took a break from their daily walk with Walking With Woofs to enjoy a quick splash at the river. It's important for dogs to have regular exercise and mental stimulation, and taking them for walks in different environments, such as near a river, can provide both. Rivers can offer a change of scenery and exciting new smells for dogs, which can be enriching and stimulating for them. However, it's important to supervise dogs around water to ensure their safety, as not all dogs are natural swimmers. Providing opportunities for dogs to explore and experience new environments can contribute to their overall well-being and happiness.

Toby thoroughly enjoyed playing and running in the snow today. The snowy environment added an extra layer of excitement to his favourite hobby of climbing. The different textures and elements of the snow made the experience even more interesting for Toby, stimulating his senses and providing new challenges. Engaging in physical activities such as running and climbing in the snow can be beneficial for dogs, as it provides mental and physical stimulation, promotes cardiovascular health, and helps to release pent-up energy. Toby's joyful and active experience in the snow demonstrates the positive impact of outdoor play on a dog's overall well-being.
