Animal House Birds of Prey is based in Scarborough and specialises in the rescue and rehabilitation of birds of prey. We receive no government funding or lottery grants and rely solely on donations to enable us to continue our work. We not only rescue wild birds but also unwanted and neglected captive bred birds of prey, these birds will be with us for the rest of their natural lives

We are currently in need of a gear box for our rescue vehicle. It's been off the road for months and we desperately need to raise £200 for a second hand one to replace it. Guys we need your help. One of our steppe eagles has gotten out of the aviary yesterday. The bad weather must have caused damage big enough for it to get out of. We had a sighting in Newby yesterday and one at throxenby this afternoon where we are still currently searching now. This bird is not tame and will not come to you for food. Urgent! - we are in desperate need of some fundraising to get our very poorly van back on the road. This literally is what keeps us doing what we do.
We also are on the lookout for a van to borrow to enable us to finish our display season which is what pays for our winter food and vets bills. Without this we are going to really struggle to keep up with the demands of the birds.

Thank you to Beacon Recovery Services for getting us towed home but now we are in need of your help!
