What a fantastic showjumping day we have had today. It may not have gone to plan for some but others were on top form. We loved being back and the outfits were fab. The winner or winners of the best outfit will be announced as soon as Chris Gibson Photography Scarborough has made the photos available and his final decision 🧙‍♀️👻🎃🐥.

It was so good to see you all again. Thank you for coming and thank you, to all involved with helping. The next one is one Sunday 17th November, hope to see you all again then.

The course is left up for the day tomorrow if anyone would like to hire it. Please ring or send a message.

We have Damien from McNickle Horsemanship Yorkshire paying us a visit on Wednesday 6th November and he has sometime from 12pm to help or give lessons to anyone else who can come to us.

He is a horse trainer from Ireland whose horsemanship is based on physical and mental balance. He has worked professionally in the industry for over a decade, throughout the UK and also spent a number of years in Australia working with a variety of horsemen to expand and improve his trade.

Having experience in a multitude of disciplines from show jumping, endurance, racing, working stock horses, camp-drafting, trick horses and everything in between, he takes pride in being non-discipline specific. No matter what the horse’s job they need to learn to go forward, back, left and right softly and with confidence. Everything else is built upon them being able to do those things.

Damien provides lessons to help with solving a problem, starting from scratch or just improving your horsemanship.

If the rain get heavy for warming up outside then we will put extra time on the class to have a warmup indoors beforehand instead.
