Fun facts !

All the pot grown trees sold on the farm are as local you can get in potted tree world, and grown just outside of Melton Mowbray.

They are the biggest size you can get for pot grown, any bigger than this and they will have been cut out the ground and the roots chopped back which means they don’t stand a strong chance of survival next year.

Growing them in pots is a specialised year round job performed by specialised farms and growers only, as they require just the right amount of water and nutrients to keep them alive, especially through the warmer months when the trees are growing.

They can be put into a bigger pot in the early spring if you don’t want to plant it in the ground, but we advise to plant them in the ground as they stand a much stronger chance of growing on to a big healthy tree with little to no maintenance.

We stock both spruce and nordmann in pot grown, with the spruce having a much fuller shape at this age as well as the pine fresh smell associated with Christmas, as well as the nordmann firr which has become the cut tree of choice in recent years given its needle retention when cut.

All priced at £45 each with free local delivery.

You can order via DM or visit and collect in person, cash or card, open at 9am daily and until 6pm late evening Friday Saturday and Sunday.
