💛 DISCOUNTED PADDOCK SESSIONS FOR XL BULLIES 💛

So, after weeks of contacting my insurance company and receiving conflicting information, I have finally gotten confirmation that XL's can run freely and safely, off-lead and muzzle free inside Paddock in the Pines! 🤗

However, this does come with some rules (please be aware that these are not my rules, and this is not something I ever wanted, nor supported).

All dogs should be on-lead on your walk up to the paddock however, XL's will also need to be muzzled until safely inside.

The lead and muzzle may be removed once you're inside the paddock, but you must padlock yourself in during your visit.

Unfortunately, you may not attend the paddock with any other friends or family dogs 😔 no group sessions are allowed, we are not insured for this. You may bring dogs with you that live in the same household however, it must be one handler to one XL. This means if you have two XL's, you need two handlers. If you have one XL and two other breed dogs in your home, you still need 2 handlers (I hope that makes sense)?

Prior to booking, you must message Paddock in the Pines with your exemption certificate and a copy of your third-party liability insurance. Once I have seen this, I will provide you with a discount code to use for life.

Again, please do not think these are my rules. I think the whole thing is barbaric and ridiculous. However, I am relieved to be able to provide you with a safe space where your gorgeous Bullies can run muzzle free 💛

Dear all XL bully owners,

We have a fenced field where we can add another gate, would any of you like to use it to let your dogs off the lead?

We realise the rules have now changed but we think every dog should safely be able to run free 🐶

This also works for any other dog who you worry about letting off the lead.

Having now just gone into my Sixth year of business, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of my wonderful loyal customers - old and new, a wonderful time and a very happy New Year and thank you all for your custom and support, I could not continue doing what I love without you guys ❤️.
I have loved looking after all of your fur-babies just as much as I do my own pets and have made so many wonderful friends and memories 🌟 on this journey which I will treasure forever ✨🌹.

Super Jet here, I am sadly looking for my forever home after a very rough start in life.
I need a very understanding home, could that be you?
⭐I lived in some very bad conditions before I started my journey to Jerry Green Dog Rescue that made me very sad.
🐾Luckily I have found my paws at the Nottinghamshire centre but I still find life very scary and worrying.
💚It takes me time but once I get to know you I am VERY affectionate, it is worth the wait to get to know me, as you can see from my picture.
🐶As I am still worried I need a quiet home with no pets and adults only, once I am settled of course this may change however for now I really need my home to be my safe space.

🐾 Hey there, it's Tilly and Taz, the adorable duo in search of our forever couch! 🏡

We've been dreaming together, and guess what? A secure garden is on our wishlist! Perfect for our playful zoomies! 🌳

🐱 We're open to sharing our space with a cat who knows their way around dogs (to be discussed with the centre, of course!). However, we would need to be the only dogs in the house.

👧🧒 We can live with Key Stage 2 children, but let's have a meet-up first at the centre!

🌲🍂 We're big fans of woodland walks, sniffing all the good smells and enjoying nature's wonders!

Is anyone missing this black cat?! … it is in our garden and injured - there is something wrong with its back leg/legs and it is limping 😰 .. we are trying to rescue/help it, but it is hissing, so not sure if its in pain.
it was starving hungry and has just wolfed down 2 pouches of food but has now scampered off into next doors garden! , please get in touch if you think that this is your pet x x Natalie Le Neve

Bruno here, really missing the sunnier weather, although I still don't mind having a sand bath in the winter sun here at the centre.🌞

I am an energetic boy who loves to make best friends with cuddles and kisses. I also enjoy having a run around in the paddocks.🐶

Hi everyone, we are seven adorable bundles of cuteness looking for our perfect forever homes! You have likely seen our appeal, sadly we are motherless but thankfully where hand reared by a kind foster carer. We are starting to explore now & our personalities are shining through so the team are going to start looking for our forever homes. Our breed is unknown, however the vet says we are going to be large, 30kg+ and will need all the socialization, support & commitment young puppies require.

Families will be visiting us between 26th November and 28th November in preparations for us to go home on the 11th or 12th of December so be sure you are available on those dates before applying. This is to ensure none of us are left behind on our own.

In relation to questions about the puppies’ breed, we will share all the information we are able to here, which will hopefully help you decide if one of these puppies will be a good match for your family! 🙂
Neither parent is in our care sadly, or has been at any point. Due to an ongoing criminal investigation into animal cruelty concerning the puppies’ mum, we are unable to share much information at all about her (see our pinned post on the puppies for more about their story). What we can confirm to help you make a decision on whether or not to apply is that neither parent is an American XL Bully. As we’re sure is understandable, it is impossible to say for sure at this point, what these puppies will look like when they are mature. Given updates to the XL Bully guidance that we are still working to investigate and best interpret for our supporters, it is looking like dogs that may meet many of the ‘type’ measurements but are clearly visually not XL Bully dogs will not be included in the ban, (this may be reassuring for those who own breeds such as Mastiffs or large Bull breeds – which so far has been a worry as to whether they will be caught up in the ban, given previous guidance).

Given this latest development, and the absolute knowledge that neither of these puppies’ parents is an XL Bully, we feel as confident as we can do at this stage that they will not be included in the ban. Some of the litter are already showing characteristics that would exclude them further from ‘type’, such as slightly fluffy coats.

We hope this information helps anyone considering these gorgeous bundles of fun as new members of their family. If your application is selected as successful, please be assured there will be ample opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have with our team during the Meet & Match® process 💚🐶
