Rspca Scunthorpe (Lincs North and Humber) The Lincs North and Humber branch of the RSPCA is a separate charity to the national RSPCA. We run by RSPCA guidelines, but raise our own funds.

Our branch members and volunteers work hard, caring for our animals, and raising funds to enable us to carry out vital animal welfare work in our area. We take in and rehome animals, as well as offering a variety of animal welfare assistance. Amongst many things, we run subsidised cat neutering schemes and provide veterinary assistance to people in receipt of benefits and offer a reduced cost microchipping service.

Did you know that we offer help to people who are struggling with the costs of feeding their animals through our pet food bank?

If you’re in need of some help then please just drop us a message on here or contact us on 07785 596618 and we can arrange a care package for you to tide you over until times are a bit easier for you.

We are also always extremely grateful for any donations of pet food to help us keep running the food bank scheme, and any donations can be dropped off at our charity shops on Ashby High Street and in Brigg.

LOST - spayed and microchipped black and white female cat from the Normanby Road area but she doesn’t know that area, she was staying somewhere else temporarily while her owners moved, but she managed to escape out of a window. Shes very loving, but wary of strangers.

Maggie came into our care a few months ago as a heavily pregnant stray cat who was not in the best condition.

She was a brilliant mum to her big litter of kittens and reared them beautifully. They’ve all gone to their forever homes, so it’s Maggie’s turn to find her special place now.

Maggie is somewhere between 1 and 2yrs old we think, and is very affectionate. She’s quite a quiet cat who likes a fuss but doesn’t demand attention. She would probably prefer a quiet home.

Beautiful Layla came into our care a few weeks ago after being found abandoned in poor condition along with her young kitten.

Layla is a gorgeous friendly girl, who loves fuss and attention, and who has been impeccably behaved while she’s been with us - she’s been the perfect houseguest and would make a wonderful addition to someone lucky person’s family.

She’s only around 1yr old, and is very playful and active. She could live with another cat and probably a dog, given careful introductions.
