IBCs in situe! These will be hidden properly once we get everything plumbed up. We would have liked to put them in the outer sections of the back area out of view but we can't insulate that as well as it has been insulated in the back two rooms so we decided that is where they need to go. Can't make room in with the trops either because we would have to loose some tanks which we don't want to do. More tanks equals more fish, lol😎👌

Testing out all the little bits of equipment..... it's all a bit wierd dealing with little tiny air lines and valves etc when you're used to dealing with big pond equipment! Quite exciting non the less and this will be the first tank to have any water in it so most definately quite exciting! 🤪

Back onto the back tropical zone we go! Needed to acquire replacement IBCs as we decided the ones we have are a bit rusty and old so we bought some shiny new ones! Because our source water has been such a headache this year and last we need a failsafe to ensure that the water we use for water changes is right before it gets to our tropical tanks. Washing them through to make sure they are as clean as we think they are😎👌

They've arrived safely..... fish safely in their vats..... now to set up the stand and they'll be ready for tomorow. We have taken up a good sample of our koi and a lot of the ones we haven't taken can be seen on the photo board we've assembled so anyone interested in others we have can reserve them if they wish for collection or delivery. Great job so far lads! 😎👌If you're planning on visiting the show is being held at Whitburn School.

All 4 of the systems we will be taking koi from to the North of England Koi Show tomorow have been starved of food for a good little period to make sure they travel up smoothly and settled into their vats for the weekend. And of course they travel smoothly to their new homes! These are our Tatesh*ta Tosai.... some of these will be travelling up tomorow morning😎👌

And so..... the moving and shifting begins..... equipment for the Koi we will be taking prepped and in the trailer, boxes, bags, (dont forget the oxygen or the elastic bands Chris!🤪)..... now for the dry goods.... tomorow the fish and away we go! 😎

A little advanced notice..... Friday afternoon Chris will already be up at the North of England Koi Show and I will be running our Jake up to the show to help set up so we will be Closed from about 1:30pm on Friday. We will be Open Saturday as I will be in the shop all day while Chris is at the Show so two places to find us this weekend and we have plenty of stock so you can find what you need at the show or in the shop 😎👌

We love it when we get past the two week point of qt as it's then time to start adding some protein and bringing them along to nice little chunks!
