Over the course of 3 sessions we will cover all the bases to ensure you are fully prepared for the challenges you may face! 📣🚨🌟NEW SPRING DATE🌟🚨📣

Our puppy classes are 6-week courses that cover all your basics to get you up and running on the right track with your puppy from the start. Puppies must be under 6 months old at the beginning of the course so we can capture those critical early weeks of development.

We will teach you the skills such as ''sit'', ''down'', ''stay'', ''recall'', ''lead work'' and ''leave it'' but the most important thing we will teach you is how to grow a socially capable and happy family dog.

Our classes are held at Cliffe Village Institute on Saturday mornings.

Problems with Recall? We feel your pain. 😫

Here’s a scenario for you… Your having a lovely stroll in the park, your dog spots a rabbit in the distance and suddenly turns deaf! You scream, you SCREAM!! You try louder, you try different words (some which cannot be repeated 🤐), you even try and chase to get your friend back but jeeese! Nothing seems to work… until 10 minutes later (hopefully🤞🏽) your dog has gotten bored, lost the rabbit and comes trotting back to you with the widest grin thinking ‘wow that was fun’. 😜 Sound familiar?

Here at Doopie Dog we understand that dogs are individuals and recall training isn’t always a one size fits all! We teach recall with fun and rewarding methods that suit your dog meaning they actually want to come back to you when called! 👏

Want to make sure your pup has the best possible start but struggling to find the time… this is the service for you! 🐾

Did you know a puppies critical socialisation period is actually only between 8-14 weeks of age? There are so many different sights, sounds, textures and environments our puppies should be exposed to safely to ensure they grow up to be a well rounded and confident dog! We understand thats a lot of work in such a short period of time and that is where we can help!

Our Pop In - Pup Out service is designed to provide your puppy with the appropriate kind of exposures to give them the best start to life, and even better… this can be happening whilst your at work, busy running errands or even just having a short break from puppy parenting (we don’t judge! That stuff is hard work! 😴)

This service includes

- Pick up and drop off from your home
- Carefully introducing your pup to different sights, sounds, textures and environments
- Teaching your pup basic manners
- Creating the foundations for Recall and Loose Lead Walking
- Report on what your puppy has seen and learnt in session

*Suitable for pre vaccinated pups*

One off hour - £30
Block of 3 (hours) - £75

All 3 Sessions are to be taken within 6 weeks of booking.

Hey everybody! 👋 I just wanted to take the opportunity of a new year to introduce myself (crocs and all 🐊). My name is Yasmin I am the face behind Doopie Dog and everyday working with my clients and their dogs is a dream come true. Although I have many years experience both owning and working with dogs, it is so important I offer my clients the best possible guidance and advice whilst with them so I continue to add to my canine knowledge and keep up to date with the latest scientific, force-free methods 🎓

I live in Selby, Yorkshire with my partner, our 3 year old cavalier Rupert (Doopie) 🐶 and my two ponies Prinn and Barney 🐴. Like most animal mad people the majority of my free time is spent finding new and exciting dog walks, cleaning up horse 💩 or spending my money on things they definitely don’t need! 🙈

I cannot wait to get back to all my current clients this year and hopefully welcome plenty more of you and your gorgeous fur babies into 2023! ❤️🐾

Puppy Class Starters - 14th January

Unfortunately I have been informed this morning that Cliffe Village Institute is having to have some emergency work done which will intervene with our puppy class start date on January 14th.

With this in mind I am sorry to say the start date is having to be delayed to the following week Saturday 21st January.

I cannot apologise enough for any inconvenience this has caused, it is totally out of my control and safety whilst using the venue is absolute paramount!

How would you feel if I told you you didn’t have to walk your dog everyday? 🫣 I know it sounds bonkers right! But just like us rest days for our dogs can be vital for allowing them time to recharge their bodies and their minds! This doesn’t mean we leave our dogs all day to lounge around on the sofa (unless their happy too) instead we replace our outdoor walks with fun games, training and bonding exercises. Scatter feeding, puzzle games and trick training are all my personal favourites and promote both calmness and confidence in our dogs! Rest days are suited to most dogs however young, excitable pups and anxious and reactive dogs can really benefit from just one rest day now and again to help bring their minds back down to earth! 💜🐾 www.pawfectpoochesdogtraining.co.uk
