Sometimes you have to blow your own trumpet!
Breeding horses is not easy or for the faint hearted if you try to do things aiming for the best you can. It also takes a very long time to finally see the results of your dreams come through, which for us was to see horses we have bred competing succesfully at International level.
To only breed a maximum of 12 foals a year and hope they make it to become sports horses good enough for good riders to enjoy in International sport and then have the results we are now seeing, I believe is a great achievement for a small breeder.
We are now ranked as the breeder in the UK in 2nd place for International show jumping winnings only beaten by the Billy Stud who breed on a vast scale.
We are very proud of our achievement but it's just a shame that our governing body for our sport (British Showjumping) dont even recognise this or even care!!!
