If you haven’t heard about us yet, we are Chapter Two - The Original French Toast Cafe in Chesterfield!

You’ll find us directly opposite Chesterfield Football Club ⚽️, in a cosy little cafe with eight tables and plenty of takeaway options. We opened our doors in August 2024, so we’re still relatively new!

Every day, we serve:

😍 Freshly cooked waffles, American pancakes, and crepes

😍 Decadent French toast (our specialty!) 🍞

😍 Smash burgers 🍔 and an all-day French toast breakfast 🥓🍳

😍 Croque Madame and Croque Monsieur

😍 Freshly ground coffee, speciality teas, cakes, soft drinks, and a selection of alcohol ☕🍹

‼️SCAMMERS NOT WELCOME‼️

We’ve put a lot of time and effort into revamping our takeaway and delivery service. Not only do we prepare every order with care, but we also personally deliver it to ensure the best experience possible.

That’s why it’s especially disheartening when a so-called “customer” submits a refund request through Just Eat for an order they received without complaint.

Unfortunately, this is becoming a growing trend with larger food delivery platforms.

In our case this refund request came in 24 hours after the order was completed and a JustEat ‘bot’ automatically issued the refund - leaving our small, independent business out of pocket.

It’s important to remember that behind the large apps is a small team working tirelessly in our first year of trading.

❗️This particular order wasn’t just prepared by Steve - it was delivered by Steve, too! Unfortunately for this customer Steve remembers YOU and where you live in STAVELEY! But we won’t be naming and shaming❗️

To clarify, this particular order was for a milkshake. We’re genuinely puzzled as to how a milkshake could be deemed “not cooked properly.”

To everyone else…….

Our new Just Eat ordering system is live every Wednesday to Sunday, and we’re committed to providing excellent food and service.

To our loyal customers, our new customers, and our future customers - we thank you for all your support.

So let’s all be kind and continue to support each other - it makes a huge difference.
