Interesting case on full inspection today; two queen cells one sealed, the other open. Mix of drone cells and worker cells on face of brood comb. Regular pattern - so laid by a queen. No queen to be found. So, are you thinking first swarm of the year in Sheffield? Absolutely sure this is a supersedure. On the fifth pass looking through the hive we saw, at last, a virgin queen - delicate, small but elongated abdomen, moving quickly. Good luck to her getting mated in the next week or so. Left them to it, queen cells and all. Expect to see eggs within a fortnight.
