🐾 Groomers challenge of the week 🙂. Turn this hairball back into a normal dog!
Much sc******ng and clipping later, with dreadlocks and knots hidden away in that great coat, a sprightly cavapoo emerged.

🐾 This old rescue Yorkshire Terrier came to Shiny Paws to get rid off the tangles,knots in his coat and have his nails trimmed.
Revealing his big eyes, two teeth and a happy little face. 😀

🐾 Today at Shiny Paws. This one year old sproodle came in looking distinctly fluffy; but after a wash and a bit of clipper and scissor action revealed a distinctive grey and white face, with symmetrical markings. She left looking smart and smelling divine, off to the pet shop for after-grooming treats 🦴🍖🥏🏀. 🐾

🐾Something different today at Shiny Paws, an absolutely gigantic labradoodle. 😀
These photos are not photoshopped - the dog really was that big. Shown against a regular dog for comparison! I had to stand on a ladder to trim his back!🤣 Fortunately he was a gentle giant. 💙

🐾 Here at Shiny paws I’m happy to have the pleasure of this young male maltapoo for his first full groom. The little man had no fear 😂 and sat quietly whilst his luxurious coat was cut back to more manageable proportions. 🥰 💙

🐾 Here at Shiny Paws this little fella (dachshund cross) came for a groom and nails trimmed. Hiding under all that hair - a tortoise! Or an Atlas. Or an paint experiment. Detailed patterning anyway. 🤣 A very well behaved & patient dog. 🐕

🐾 This Poodle Cross came to Shiny Paws with a substantial winter coat, so much so he could hardly see which way to walk. Soon enough it was all off, revealing beautiful markings and an unusual pigmentation on its tongue. 🐕‍🦺

🐾 This afternoon a 6 month old mini bear had the shock of its life: away from his owner for the very first time and then to lose all those curls! 😂 Transformed back into a Cockerpoo. 🐾

🐾 Here at Shiny Paws we only do dogs from one household at once, which usually means one at a time and a calm and efficient parlour. Not today though, this puppy and wise old lady came in together for the full works and after a bit of shampoo, hairdryer and clipper magic - went bouncing off home. 🐕‍🦺🐕

🐾 Today at Shiny Paws: This Springador puppy came for its first bath & trim. The breed is often energetic and bouncy and he was no exception 🤣 but well behaved on the grooming table. Till we meet again Mr Springador! 🐶

🐾 Today at Shiny Paws. Lots of dogs try to lay down on the grooming table, to escape the unfamiliar noises and sensations of the grooming process. Not this Sprocker Spaniel! He preferred to sit right up, front legs waving in the air, all ears and a big grin. 😃

🐾 Hello and Happy New Year from Shiny Paws 🥳
Today a 7 month old Labradoodle enjoyed his first ever bath and groom in the parlour. He behaved really well throughout, and left a great deal less shaggy and able to see! 🤣

🐾 An adorable 16 week old Red Cockerpoo came to Shiny Paws today for its first puppy groom. This dog has unusually white nails on one foot, which may well fade as it get older. Handsome Boy! 🥰 🐾

🐾These Cavapoo quadruplets visited Shiny Paws for a bath and dry, restoring that new puppy smell and banishing, for a while, the sitting-in-wee smell 😂
