This boy makes me smile every time! He has a huge prey drive and cues fall on deaf ears if I miss the window of opportunity to redirect…
But …with endorsing fun training and lots of “go away and come back” style of training, Max is slowly but surely finding it easier to redirect focus onto me… and he thinks I’m kinds fun to be around 🤷🏽♀️
We still have a strong dislike for other dogs but he is getting much better with rewarding wanted behaviour and short clear instruction to correct unwanted behaviour. He is learning he doesn’t have to react to every dog that passes him and it makes me so proud when we don’t react! He might give dogs the RBF but I’ll take that over being reactive!
