Our Nurse had the pleasure of these two little cuties this morning for their monthly puppy checks! ❤⭐ Dr Sprinkles & Mr Mocha 😍 They both have such gentle personalities and it's always a pleasure to see them 🥰 We couldn't resist taking a pic of them in their Christmas outfits! 😍🥹🎅

This is Mrs Doyle 😍❤ She stayed with us recently for a mass removal 😊 Surgery went well and she is now recovering well at home 🥰 We all fell in love with her little face and gentle personality ❤⭐ Here she is enjoying some food after surgery ⬇❤

He stayed with us for the day last week for neutering and was a very brave boy ⭐💙 Everything went well and Blanco is now recovering at home 🥰😇

This is Theo 😍⬇

Theo visited our nurse a couple of days ago for his pre-op check as he was due to be neutered! 😊 He was a very confident boy (and super handsome! ❤) and as you can see he made himself comfortable! 😂

Pre-op checks are an important part of the procedure as these allow time for our nurses to check over your pet, and ensure there are no concerns before proceeding with an anaesthetic. 😊 The procedure will be discussed in detail along with risks and concerns too. 😊

Blood samples aren't always easy to take from our patients, especially the young, giddy ones or those that feel a little nervous! For Vera (pictured below) the licki mat full of food worked as a wonderful distraction while our nurse Amy took the blood sample from her hind leg! ⭐🥰

The blood sample taken is for a general health screen and is included in our Complete Wellness Plan! 💙 We can take this sample every 12 months, so please give us a call if you think your dog/cat may be due theirs and we can discuss this in more detail with you! 😊

Poppy started attending weight clinics with our Nurses a while ago and came regular for progress checks and measurements! 😊🥰 The pictures don't quite show the extent of her amazing weight loss journey, but her starting weight was 42.5kg, and she is now 29.9kg! 😍⭐That's a huge 12.6kg loss!!! 🥳

This has been achieved using a specific weight loss diet, and of course dedication from her owner! 🥰

It may seem early, but if your pets are afraid of the fireworks, then now is the time to act! 🎆 We have some handouts here at Sheffield which offer some great tips to help make the event as stress free as possible! 🤞 You can also book in with one of our nurses to discuss the options available - however please be aware if our nurses feel your pet may require something of prescription strength, you will be referred to one of our vets for this. 😊

Feel free to pop in an pick up a handout, or give us a call and we can email it to you instead! 😊⭐

Elvis visited our nurse last week for his first puppy check 😍⬇ How adorable is he?! and his cosy little sweater just made him even cuter 💙

We recommend monthly visits for puppies and kittens whilst they are growing - this gives both you and us the opportunity to discuss any concerns and provide advice on topics such as food, parasite treatment, dental hygiene and more. 😊🦷 These monthly checks are included in our Complete Wellness Plan too! ⬇⭐

‼️FOUND‼️

A member of the public sadly found a deceased cat around 7pm on Friday on Manor Road, Wales. The cat is a female, approximately 5-6 months old with dark tortoiseshell colouring. There was unfortunately no collar or microchip.

If you think this may be your cat or know who's it may be, please contact the practice on 0114478699. Proof of ownership will be required.
