Fireworks have begun for many of us. To help you prepare your pets we have compiled a list of known firework displays in the coming weeks.

We have also included some tips to help your pets through what is often a difficult time.

This morning we held our first pack walk session in Shrewsbury. This is a session where you can join us for the entire walk or however long suits you and your dog.

These sessions are aimed at getting your dog to build confidence around other dogs and in the dogs themselves as you can see by getting the dogs to jump up onto items such as benches and bins.

Just want to say thank you to Ginger & Co. Coffee Shop for letting us in for a lovely time and coffee will definitely be back.

Get booked on... but what is a pack walk???🤔
A Pack Walk is a walk in an environment with like minded people who want to develop their dogs responses in controlled situations with the support from a dog trainer
Agenda:
Meet at 9am - Abbey Foregate Church Carpark, walk over the bridge into Quarry park, where we will do some controlled socialisation (obedience practice of sits and down).
Once done here we will move off and head toward Shrewsbury Square for a coffee, allowing us to develop the dogs social response.
Once finished here we will continue on our way back to the cars.

Lily joined the LR Dog Training family back in may and during that time we have been working on her engagement when outside the home environment. We have made a massive break through tonight with Lily visiting a new area with getting some great success both on-lead and on the long line.

I would like to welcome Fudge (left) and Cookie (right) both 9 month old Dachshund's to the LR Dog Training family. I'm working with these 2 lovely dachshunds to support their owners to help teach the dogs on how to settle in a social setting.
