🐾 Help Your Dog Cope with Fireworks! 🎆

Fireworks can be stressful for our furry friends. Here are some tips to help your pup stay calm:

1. Desensitise: Play recorded firework sounds at a low volume and reward your dog for staying calm.
2. Safe Space: Create a cozy retreat for your dog with their favorite toys and blankets.
3. Calming Aids: Consider using pheromone diffusers or anxiety wraps to help soothe them.
4. Practice Commands: Keep their mind engaged with basic commands or tricks during the noise.
5. Stay Calm: Your energy matters! Stay relaxed and reassuring.
6. Avoid Punishment: Never scold them for being scared—offer comfort instead.

Let’s keep our pups happy and safe this firework season! 🐶❤️

🐾 Training your dog isn't just about teaching commands—it's about building a strong bond of trust, understanding, and respect. A well-trained dog is happier, safer, and more enjoyable to be around. Training helps prevent behavioural issues, ensuring your dog knows how to act in different situations, whether at home, around strangers, or with other animals. It also stimulates their mind, keeping them engaged and mentally sharp. Plus, the time you spend training your dog strengthens your relationship, creating a deeper connection and a more fulfilling life together. Invest in training—your dog deserves it! 🐾

Tips for Keeping Your Dog Safe and Cool in the Summer Heat

Hey everyone! With the temperatures rising, it’s important to make sure our furry friends are staying cool and safe. Here are some tips to help you and your pup enjoy the summer without any heat-related issues:

1. Hydration is Key: Always ensure your dog has access to fresh, cool water. Carry a portable water bowl when you’re out and about.
2. Avoid Hot Surfaces: Pavement, sand, and other surfaces can get extremely hot and burn your dog’s paws. Walk your dog early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.
3. Never Leave Your Dog in the Car: Even with the windows cracked, temperatures can skyrocket in minutes, posing a deadly risk.
4. Provide Shade: If your dog spends time outside, make sure there’s plenty of shade available. A doghouse isn’t enough, as it can trap heat.
5. Cooling Mats and Vests: Consider investing in cooling mats or vests designed to keep dogs cool.
6. Know the Signs of Heatstroke: Heavy panting, excessive drooling, vomiting, and lethargy are signs of heatstroke. If you suspect your dog is overheated, move them to a cooler area and contact your vet immediately.
7. Grooming: Regular grooming helps your dog stay cool. While some breeds benefit from a summer trim, others do not – consult your vet or groomer.
8. Limit Exercise: On very hot days, keep exercise minimal. Avoid strenuous activities and opt for short walks or play indoors.
9. Frozen Treats: Make DIY frozen treats to help your dog cool down. Ice cubes, frozen peanut butter, or fruit popsicles can be a fun way to beat the heat.

Remember, our dogs rely on us to keep them safe and comfortable. Let’s make sure this summer is fun and safe for everyone!

Feel free to share your own tips or photos of your dogs enjoying the summer in the comments below!

Stay cool, everyone! 🐶☀️

Just one for all owners. Dog training sessions do not go smoothly all the time. Thats why i love my job. To laugh to giggle to ride through the difficulties. Consistency is key!

❤️🐾When you sign up for one-on-one dog training and realise your dog has signed up for human training:

Day 1: Trainer arrives. Dog sits perfectly still and watches you struggle with commands.
Day 2: Dog nails every trick while you fumble with the leash.
Day 3: Trainer praises dog, suggests you might need more treats for motivation.
Day 4: Dog begins “training” you to fetch its favourite toy.
Day 5: Realisation hits: you’re the one learning sit, stay, and roll over. Dog is now the trainer.

Welcome to the world of dog training, where the student becomes the master!
