Livery/competition yard based in 100 acres of countryside. 5 day week, own horse welcome, no accommodation. Duties include feeding, turning out, mucking out, sweeping and haynets. Occasional travel to competitions if interested but not essential. Riding of well behaved horses if wanted but not essential. Horses are all well behaved and easy to manage as are the liveries!! To work as part of a friendly, relaxed team who pay attention to detail. Experience essential, would consider a working student. Applicant must be cheerful, reliable and have a sense of humour!

A lovely few days away jumping at Northcote Stud for Bilbo and Hugo. Both were impeccably well behaved despite the very long 13.5hr journey after getting stuck in some horrid traffic on the M6.

Today the boss took owners horse Seb, owned by Suzan Gordon to Bury Farm. One pole down in the clear round but a super round, then just one down in his first British Novice! Really pleased with how this horse has progressed, 3 months ago he wouldn’t even entertain going in the ring if there was a set of jumps out! Good day 😊😊😊😊

Thursday saw us head off up north to Northcote stud for a couple of day jumping with Larsson Sarah’s 5yr old Stallion. Very early start on Friday jumping the British Novice but worth it for the double clear and an 8th place finish, then a lovely round in the Discovery which this pair have only ever done once before! Jumped a beautiful round with a couple of unfortunate poles to end up with 8 faults but super pleased with the overall performance put in. Saturday saw some horrendous weather but determined as ever Sarah got on with the task at hand and jumped an absolutely outstanding round in the power and speed class jumping double clear!!! This partnership has only been out a handful of times and each time has gone from strength to strength, learning from each other and forming what is a true partnership between them and to see the genuine smile on Sarah’s face after each round makes the early starts and late finishes worth it every time. Larssons behaviour was impeccable as always even in a very busy warm up and some horrid weather. Thank you to the girls who stayed home looking after the yard and all the horses because without them away shows wouldn’t be possible

Another trip out for this amazing combination today jumping the British Novice at Bury Farm. Beautifully ridden round even if Larsson thought he only had to jump 10 fences 🤣
