😭 STILL NO HOME FOR RUSTY 😭 Surely someone can help this poor old boy?!? 🙏🏻
He is 12 years very young (please bear in mind that he is still very active!) 🧡🐾🧡 He is vocal around dogs and gets upset being left alone - we KNOW this is a tricky combination to find a home for, but surely we can find him a pet free home who know and love Staffys 🧡🐾🧡

Thank you so much to everyone who shared our post yesterday. A huge thank you to Forgotten Felines Cat Rescue for coming out with a trap, and to Missing Dogs Team Wales for jumping in to action too. Sadly we haven't had any sightings. We've got drones coming in today and tomorrow hopefully, a huge thank you to the local pilots.

🌟 Update 24th July 🌟
We've been incredibly luckily to secure Merry a rescue space with our old friends at Cinque Ports Rescue.
They're the team that took Ramona, another Spaniel found in equally poor condition. She flourished under their care and we know Merry will do the same.
We wouldn't typically release this information so early, but she needs additional medical care that we're unable provide.
We'll still be fulfilling our legal obligation of the 7 day hold with Merry remaining under the remit of the council until her statutory time has elapsed.

Please give a gentle welcome to Merry, a female Cocker Spaniel found straying around Russell Street, Sheerness on 20th July.
She's chipped, but the details haven't been kept up date.
Unfortunately, she's not in the best condition. She has entropion in her right eye, nodes in her mammaries leaking discoloured fluid and cystitis.
She's now receiving a cocktail of antibiotics and eye drops to keep her comfortable, but she will require surgery down the line.
Due to failures under The Animal Welfare Act 2006, any owner wishing to come forward must be able to provide evidence that she's been stolen, is long-term missing, or is already receiving veterinary care.

Flopsy is a 6 year old Cocker spaniel based in Dorset (DT8) looking for her forever home 🐾
This sweet girl loves to be by your side and needs a calm environment with older children (16+) and another dog for companionship. She is nervous at first but warms up quickly, enjoying snuggles and gentle company. Flopsy isn't high-energy and prefers pottering around and relaxing. Sadly the people we had lined up for Henry, after keeping him waiting for a week to visit, didn't turn up. We do understand situations changed, and we hope the people are okay, but a phone call would have avoided Henry being left behind.

Mango - She is an amazingly confident puppy! Super well-mannered and a friendly little soul. She settles well but knows how to hold her own during play time. She is beautiful inside and out
Kiwi - Much like Mango, Kiwi is a firecracker of a puppy, normally found exploring with Mango, she is a confident little princess. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it with her beautiful little puppy eyes. She loves to play with her sibling and even tries playing with her big foster brothers
Cherry - She is a beautiful quiet little lady, she will have a little explore, loves to play but her favourite thing ever is snoozing and she's even happier if she can snooze with you!! Cherry is an independent little lady
Apple - Don't be fooled by her size, she has got a HUGE personality. She is a happy, bouncy, energetic puppy that loves a good play and exploring new places. She like all the others is also an expert cuddler! She is a feisty gal who loves wrestling with her siblings
They are 8 weeks old and have been microchipped and vaccinated. Adopters need to be aware that they will need to be able to bring them back for neutering once old enough & therefore need a home in or close to Liverpool.
Both could live with neutered dogs & children over 10 years old and dog savvy cats.
You will need to be home a lot and thoroughly committed, as taking on a puppy takes a lot of time and effort. Please read up about French bulldogs and their known brachycephalic health complications and insurance issues prior to applying.
We are expecting a lot of applications for these pups, and will always put the needs of our animals first when searching for their homes.

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt.

XL BULLY – NEUTERING DEADLINE APPROACHING
Here’s an important reminder for XL Bully owners in Wales and England, with exempted dogs that were 12 months or older on 31st January this year.
The deadline for neutering your dog is 30th June, and confirmation must be sent to DEFRA by 26th July.
