Vanya is saying hello from Sweden - in his favourite showing off style position on a Swedish rock… when he was still feeling perky and happy self! At the moment he is a bit lame - but we will monitor him for the next few days, and hopefully he will feel better very soon 🙏🏼🤗🐾

(The purpose of the questionnaire is to help parents and parents-to-be who also have dogs to manage and organise their life better and in a less stressful way - while still staying active and feeling alive🤗🙏🏼🙌🏼)

My friend (also known and being good at her business as ) mentioned recently regarding the way I raise dogs/puppies and children… after I said to her that Vincent is a truly wild child - and he is even the next level of wilderness 😅🙈

To which she replied - “Haha, that’s how you raise puppies and children then! You definitely give them a fearless attitude!”
😅🤷🏼‍♀️

The days when Samurai was showing Litium the ropes and teaching him both good and bad things 😅🙈 (like hunting for the pheasants or playing with the hose pipe …)

Even though they weren’t best friends once Litium reached his maturity, I still remember well their cherish-full times of friendship 🤗🐾🌈

As much as Litium appears to any outside eye to be extremely wild, crazy and full of beans (you name it!) - he is also very gentle and composed around Vincent 😎🐾
It didn’t happen overnight obviously 😅, all the introductions between them were happening really gradually (through different development stages from a baby-baby to a toddler now) and it went very flawless and smooth at the end. We didn’t put any pressure on anyone anyway (for example timeframe when we wanted them to be interacting together closely, any specific plan etc) - so a very relaxed way 🤗😎

Also, remember - any picture taken out of the context can be misleading, like this one related to my post for example 😎 and people can interpret things like they want 🤷🏼‍♀️😉

Dog Epilepsy Awareness vs IR-responsible Breeding 🐾

As many of you now know, I have just lost my dog due to the epilepsy (Maeglin Samurai, Maid x Phil)

When Samurai passed away, I immediately informed the breeder about it as I felt it was my responsibility to do so - however, they never responded to my message, at all, not a single word regarding the death of the dog that they bred.

When I publicly announced the death of Samurai, the only thing the breeder did - was to put a short comment on my post saying “So sorry! I remember him as a great pup…”

Another not-so-great thing is that they continue to breed from the lines which clearly carry the epilepsy, taking lots of risk - for both the dogs, and their future owners.

I absolutely love Maeglins, their working capabilities, temperament etc… and I would have loved to have another one 😭
However, due to the breeder’s ethics and morals - I just won’t be able to as my moral values aren’t aligned with his.

Samurai is no longer with us 💔… at the age of 4 and a half years old he died during one of his epileptic fits - which happened to be his last one.

He left a huge hole in my heart, I didn’t expect that it would be so extremely hard to suddenly loose him - despite the fact that I expected he wouldn’t be with us too long: his recent fits were becoming more frequent and more violent at times, it was also taking him much longer to get back to his “normal” / “usual” self - and even then he wasn’t fully himself, I definitely could see the behavioural and physical changes in him with the increased frequency of the fits.

It has been nearly two months since he left us. I still find myself teary when looking at his pictures and talking about him passing away.

I wasn’t home when his last fit took place. I’m glad I wasn’t.

Thank you to my favourite person for being with him until his last breath. Thank you also for being with me and Samurai in the same room when I came back home that day. I love you,

He had a really good life, and left us young and bright.

BABY + TWO PUPPIES… (im)possible - ? 😎☝🏼

Raising two black working puppies (Paco the Lab and Lucifer the Springador) might seem like a totally unreasonable and impossible venture …

However with a little bit of creativity and just a bit more patience (😅) something that seems like an impossible challenge - becomes quite an organised mission 😎☝🏼

The WILD CRAZY CREATURES HAVE LEFT 🤩🥳🙌🏼 🐾🐾- what a relief 😂🙊🙈
(No more unnecessary whining in the crates, night crate cleaning after occasional accidents, constantly bruised legs, pulled washing off the clothesline … 🙊🙈)

Paco and Lucifer who were wildly and creatively raised by me from the tender young age until they could travel to Europe to @ (their legitimate owner), have finally left our home 🤗

It always feels (and IS in reality) so different when it comes to having and raising a puppy for yourself (as your own dog) as opposed to doing it for someone else. It is not about not loving or liking in general having the puppies around, doing socialisation, working on toy and food motivation, environmental training with them etc … It is just not the same type of bonding experience that is happening - there’s no special “magic” in it 😎☝🏼

Anyway, the black devils have flown their temporary nest - let’s wish them all the best in their future dog working ventures, and of course let’s follow their adventures 🤗🐾🙌🏼🐾

Floydy boy 😍🐾, who remembers this absolutely incredible lovely little doggo who stayed with me for his training last summer?

, your boy is truly the best - he smashed it with learning how to play in a controlled way (and how not to be possessive over the toy and bite the hands 😅), how to focus on the handler, how to control himself around various distractions (and many more skills) - thank you for keeping up all the work, I love your relationship with Floyd 🤗🙌🏼

Celebration time… 🐾❤️🤩 I know I haven’t been in here for a while (for various reasons)… but now I really want to take some time to celebrate the successes that my board&trains achieved this year - which is about to finish, wow - time flies, right..? 😳🥺 (whether it’s good or bad, but it freaking does!!)

So, the first in line is … *drum roll* … Alion the Crazy Aussie 😍❤️🤩

Don’t ask me why I love this dog so much - but he brought so much joy into my life, so much happiness, we just connected from the moment we met… and every time he came to stay with me - each time it coincided with an important event in my life.

Alion has been to a few trainers prior to meeting me, he even stayed for a residential training twice (sic!) before 🤷🏼‍♀️😳 But apparently it didn’t help him to stop nipping random people and dogs when he was out and about 🙈

I’m glad he came into my life, and according to his owners they’re very happy that I came into theirs and Alion’s 😅 So let this mutual love grow every day ❤️

Our recent trip to Scotland… 😍🙌🏼❤️ I clearly remember my childhood dream about visiting Scotland simply because I wanted to see … Scottish heather in full bloom 😀 (at least the books that I was reading back in Russia were describing it as one of the Miracles everyone has to see in life)

Well, I didn’t get to see the heather blooming (end of September happened to be the wrong time of the year for this purpose 😅🙈), but the impressions I received during our trip were definitely unforgettable and the ones to keep in the memory for life 🤗🥰

Also, we got to meet in person (finally, yay!) some super wonderful people - , thank you for showing us around, it was truly lovely to meet you guys!
Thank you also for making us experience a delicious (Scottish) sushi at 😀🙌🏼
