A quick look at how we make our bales - all our bales are baled with a Kuhn combination baler this ensures that from the moment the grass gets lifted by the baler it doesn’t touch the ground until the full baling and wrapping process is complete. There are many benefits to this, here are the ones we think as customers you will find seek the benefit of - Reduced Waste and Loss: The uniformity of the bales ensures that they are more easily stacked, stored, and transported. As the bale never touches the floor before wrapping there is less chance of soil contamination. Properly compressed bales are less likely to become damaged during handling, reducing waste due to spoilage/mold. Increased Shelf Life: With the baler’s ability to reduce air pockets and moisture content in the bale, the resulting product is less prone to mold and won’t degrade over time. This means that buyers can store hay or haylage for a longer period without sacrificing quality, which is especially beneficial for managing feed supplies through the off-season.
