This week we had the beautiful betty visit for the day for a tester to see if she would be happy staying with us. I’m not sure who enjoyed the stay more, but needless to say we can’t wait for betty to visit again soon.

Wow!! What a busy start to the new year, lots of old and new furry faces joining us at Woody’s Patch and we love it.
Little about me! I’m obsessed with dogs!
I have a 4*star fully licensed rating, I’m dbs checked insured and currently completing my pet first aid and emergency canine certification.
I have enrolled with the dog training college which I’m starting in March, very excited to learn more and offer more to all the pups I care for.
I’m based in Slimbridge and currently able to take 5 additional dogs along with my 2. I offer day & night boarding, walking, check ins and when possible pet sitting in your homes.

So we’ve been a little quiet on Facebook lately and I can now share why!!
🚨We have been making some improvements to ensure your pups have the best experience when they visit woodys patch.
🚨We have added a new path around the garden to add some additional texture to doggies paws, along with bark sand pebbles and grass for extra variety.
🚨We have also introduced a sensory area with an array of different plants herbs wheat grass to aid with digestion and wind chimes made from different types of materials they are proving very popular with the fur babies.
🚨And last by by no means least we have added a new outdoor area for the pups which include their own bed blankets pillows toys bowls snuffle mats and to add a little luxury a tv! Dogs behaving badly and in the dog house are firm favourites. The outdoor area is heated in the winter and we have fans and cooling mats for the warmer months.
Huge shout out to the hubby who has spent so much of his time making sure it was everything I asked for and more.

Different opinions on-line on just how toxic this stuff actually is for dogs, Dogs Trust has classed it as a poisonous plant - bad enough for humans with hayfever! Probably best avoided.
