If you can't take your dogs for walks due to the weather, your schedule or because he/she does not enjoy the outdoors or is afraid/reactive to unfamiliar stimuli, you can plant a scent garden of lavender, thyme, mint, etc. to provide opportunities for sniffing. Hiding scent parcels or their favourite toys in your garden or home to seek out and find will be exciting for them. Scatter feeding their food instead of bowl feeding will also encourage the use of their noses to seek out their food as their ancestors did.

13-year-old male yellow missing since 11:30am on Wednesday (8 December) from

Microchipped. Collar with tag.

He is quite stiff and has a distinctive mole on his muzzle. If there are ANY sightings of him, let SU know.

Windy Weather
Your dog is more likely to lose their sense of smell in the windy and cold conditions that we are being warned about. This can lead to your dog getting easily lost. A few suggestions that make may help 💜

* Check your fences are secure
* Keep your dog on a lead or long line
* Use an ID tag (legal requirement)
* Keep your dogs microchip details up to date

URGENT.... DOG FOSTER MUMS AND DADS NEEDED!!!!!

We are beyond desperate for foster homes. All the ones we have are currently full as we have dealt with a lot of intakes over the last couple of months and these furbabies need time to adjust and have any medical treatment before they go up for adoption. Meanwhile we are having to say no to the desperate cases we should be finding places for and it's breaking our hearts to turn them away.

You must live within 15 miles of B32 (Birmingham) be at home most of the time, any animals you have must be neutered, vaccinated and de-flead and wormed and you would need your own transport (not absolutely essential but would be extremely helpful)
We supply all your foster animals needs....food, bowls, crate if needed, collar and lead and a bed.
Also needed animal free foster homes.
