McVitty you total legend ! 32.3 double clear in the Novjce against Solihull ! He just added time to his dressage to finish 7th round a tough track 🤩 felt good to be doing a novice again this year. Thank you so much to .castle.543 for letting me ride the best 6 year old over ❤️

🌟🌟 Showjump Clinic 29/30th August 🌟🌟

The next clinic at Chessetts Wood Equestrian in Lapworth will be showjumping on the Thursday and Friday. There will be both daytime and evening sessions.

A weekend of nearly but not quite at Nationals for our new Kingswood Ridimg Club. Captain started with a good dressage of 32.8 in his section. Then cross country was a really tricky track causing a lot of problems and Captain put in a really naughty run out which was disappointing when the rest of the course he jumped so well and still stayed inside the time. Then we went back the next day for the trot up and showjumping. He felt tired but lit up in the ring and tried his very hardest to just have the last of the treble down. We were super pleased with him. We helped bump the team up to 2nd place with one more to jump for our team unfortunately a lameness meant we lost a rider and dropped to team 6th. Still a brilliant result just a shame when we were so close to a team sash but the main thing is all the team horses are safe and sound now ! A brilliant first eventing Nationals for Team Kingswood with individual placings and a team placing. We’ll get more sashes next time 💪🏻 💙🤍🧡

Captain helping his 100 and 105 team Win the BRC showjumping qualifiers for . He also came individual 2nd in the 105 and 5th in the 100 🤩 Off to Nationals we go !

Starting with one fence and building the line up so suitable for first time gridwork and great for the experienced horses to work on gymnastic jumping.

⭐️ SATURDAY GROOM WANTED ⭐️

I’m looking for a Saturday groom to start in August at Chessetts Wood Equestrian in Lapworth , Warwickshire.

The job is sole charge so must be able to work alone. We have a range of horses so must be capable of handling ponies up to
Competition horses ( no stallions or youngstock here ). Must have own transport and be 18+ years old.

The job is turning out , bringing in , mucking out and yard tidying. 31 horses on site and a mixture of full liveries and assisted DIYs so you won’t have to do 30 horses ! Usually mucking out between 5-8 stables sometimes more when liveries are away. The pay is a good day rate pay. All the people on the yard are lovely aswell !

All ages and abilities welcome. Both individual and group sessions available. Great for confidence building aswell as improving those course riding skills and lines. £30 per person

2nd Places for both Kira and Captain in their Novice classes at the BRC Dressage Qualifiers. Kira did a beautiful test in Novice 24 against lovely horses for 71.09% and Captain was just beaten on a brilliant 74.42% in his Novice 30 class !

🌟 1x Assisted DIY space available 🌟

1 stable has become available at Chessetts Wood Equestrian in Lapworth , Warwickshire.

Livery includes all hay and straw and one bring it or turn out per day for £280 a month. All year round turn out with over night turn out in the summer months. Would be in a shared paddock with one other horse.

Beautiful yard with 2 arenas and a lunge pen aswell as off road hacking on site and good road hacking. Onsite coach available with regular jump clinics held on the yard.

Off to Nationals we go ! 🤩 Captain did a fantastic job dressage for 30.5 , a very pesky pole showjumping and then a super clear in the time for individual 5th and helped our 100 team to WIN getting us a ticket for Nationals ! All the teams did so well today with team 2nd in the 90 and team 3rd in the 80 aswell as brilliant individual scores too. So proud of our little club. Love Team Kingswood 💙🧡❤️
