YAC AGM 2025!

Thank you so much for coming to the YAC AGM and the awards night🥰It was lovely to see so many of our members there.

As always, we give out the YAC Awards⭐️ Below is a list of the winners

As always, it’s so tricky to pick our winners. All our members work so hard each week and it’s lovely to see the partnerships flourish🥰

We have had some changes among the committee with Gemma now as Chairperson, Nicki as Vice Chairperson, Carolyn as Secretary, Gill as Treasurer and Rachel as a Committee Member. If anyone was interested in joining the committee but didn’t feel confident, we’re always open to new people, new ideas and suggestions. Please let us know, we want to make this club the best it can be!

“It’s a knockout” pairs relay race!

After several fast & furious knockout rounds our Champions were the cocker/lab team of Jamie & Buster with Gemma & Nessa! 🥇
Narrowly beaten into second place were the Retriever/Cocker team of Mary & Bertie with Euan & Skye! 🥈

🥳🥳Boast Post🥳🥳

We have some very exciting results from this weekend!

Carolyn and Teasel WON the petite Agility at the FAB finals🥳and Nicki and Foxy came 5th in the Jumping🥳A massive well done ladies! They’ve worked very hard at the FAB shows over the summer and qualified for the finals, which they smashed!

And Gemma and Nessa have qualified for the Pawsability finals at the Bath and West next year. They’ve qualified 2 events, the Jumping and the Steeplechase🥳

Alice & Teddy had their first official clear round (2nd place) in competition at FAB on Sunday and he managed to wait on the start line in all his classes, which is huge for him- especially in such a distracting environment! Well done! 🤩👏🏻Foxy got 1st in both Steeplechase & Jumping at FAB on Sunday and Eevee got to do her first ever competition runs and thoroughly enjoyed herself, even if she was a bit wild! 🥰

Thanks to everyone that attended the summer fun night. It was a good chance to socialise and also to say a fond farewell to our instructor Mary who is retiring from the club. Mary has been a club member for over 10yrs- helping to run the show displays, being a part of the committee and an instructor over the years. Thank you for everything you have done for the club Mary and hopefully we’ll see you at some of our fun nights in the future and out competing.

Some poodle fun at club last night🧡🖤🧡we have the lovely poodles from Emily’s Groom Room Arthur, Patsy and Polly in our 6:30 class. They had a week off agility last week, so they were raring to go🏃‍♀️
