Did you guess which dog struggles around other dogs yesterday? Well, it was a bit of a trick question – because they BOTH do! In this video, we witness a truly heartwarming moment: two dogs, each struggle in their own ways, comfortably coexisting in the same space. What makes this even more special is that this harmony was achieved because both dogs were listened to and supported every step of the way by their humans and us. Dogs with BIG feelings often face challenges in social settings, whether it's due to anxiety, fear, or frustration. But with patience, understanding, and the right guidance, they can thrive. These dogs were NEVER forced into uncomfortable situations. Instead, their boundaries were respected, and they were gradually given the tools to manage their emotions. This week, two of our Training Trails boys absolutely smashed it! 🙌🫶 🐾 Max has been working hard on his confidence around unfamiliar dogs and humans. This week, he really pushed through and made some incredible progress. It's amazing to see him learning to trust more and feel more comfortable in difficult situations. 🐾 Bruno has been tackling his challenges with loose lead walking and focus during walks. This week, he made strides, keeping that lead loose and staying focused, even with distractions all around! We truly believe it takes a village at times to help our dogs succeed. When our students embark on their Training Trails journey we work as a team, focusing on both individual training sessions with us and the dogs and also alongside their humans so we are all on the same page. It’s all about consistency and teamwork! 🌟 What an incredible Saturday! First we had The WHOLE Puppy class—sorry, no videos, but they absolutely SMASHED it! 🐶 Then we moved on to The WHOLE Dog Class, where we could really see everyone progressing with their new skills, especially learning to settle on a mat around distractions 👏👏👏 After that, we headed to Corsehill Park 🚘🐾 To put our Level Up classes’ whistle recalls to the test for the first time in the real world, and wow, they did amazing! Finally, we wrapped up back at our unit with the VID Club, focusing on more settling and building on our previous skills 🥰 Amazing job all around!
