Bannvalley Pride of Midnight - Elvis class 1 RID stallion Class 1 RID Stallion
2007 16hh, 23cm bone, girth 204cm
by Pride of Meath ex Carrickrock Midnight Dancer

Graded in 2011 with the IDHS Elvis is a fully approved Class1 RID stallion . He sailed through the inspection and scored highly in all aspects of his conformation and
movement. One of the inspectors commented ` he is a superb example of the breed, being very strong in areas where many of todays draughts are weak - he will be very
good for the breed`
Elvis is lovely example of the Irish Draught

breed, this good looking young stallion has it all, excellant conformation, good bone and wonderful movement - being straight,
athletic and light on his feet. His temperament is second to none, with a kind, friendly disposition he is a joy to handle. He descends from some of Irelands finest bloodlines with a particulary strong mare line. His dam Carrickrock Midnight Dancer was a champion show mare, his grand dam
Millhollow Starlet and his his great grand dam, Roma Blue Wind were both Supreme Champion RID Mares at the Royal Dublin Show in Ireland. His sire Pride of Meath has sired many showjumpers, eventers, dressage and show horses and is by the legendary Pride of Shaunlara. Other performance bloodlines
include Crosstown Dancer, a grade A show jumper by Flagmount Diamond (King of Diamonds)
Elvis is carrying on the family tradition and has had a very successful inhand show career to date, he himself is a county show champion, he has also showed a great
aptitude for jumping whilst being prepared for his gradings and was loose schooling 1m 20 with ease. His first crop of purebred foals have been very successful in the
showring including a win at the Great Yorkshire show and winning the overall foal championship at the IDHS (GB) National Breed Show. His foals are very correct, straight
moving with great limbs and beautiful heads.

Top class Irish draught sport horse filly foal (1/6/24)
By Bannvalley Pride of Midnight - Elvis class 1 RID stallion
Ex Precilla SHB stud book (Lovely performance bloodlines Cruising, Marius, Sea Crest, King of Diamonds
Hattie is a very correct, beautiful, eye catching foal that oozes presence, she is long striding and expressive, comes of the ground and floats.
Friendly, bold temperament, Hattie loves people!
As with all my foals has had a great start in life, well cared for, wormed, handled and has been well loved.
An exciting inhand show prospect and I would expect her to make a top class ridden show hunter, she could equally go on to a more performance based home be it dressage, eventing or showjumping. Her pedigree is littered with outstanding competition horses in all spheres.
Her full sister although lightly shown was very successful, champion sport horse as a foal at the Irish draught National Show, winning there again as a yearling and a 2yr old. She went on to win at the Great Yorkshire as a 3yr old before successfully eventing as a novice 5yr old at BE90.
Serious competitive enquiries only please. If you are looking for a long term investment in an exciting, quality youngster then please get in touch.

AVAILABLE
Irish draught c**t foal. Full class 1 breeding.
By Bannvalley Pride of Midnight - Elvis class 1 RID stallion ex Kensons Wilma (Fintan Himself)
Mickey Mouse is a very correct and typey foal. A sort hard to find, not overly big and expected to make a top class show cob. Super limbs and great movement. He is a c**t I also feel would be worthy to be run on should someone be looking for a potential stallion that is true to breed standard. His dam Kensons Wilma is a lovely old fashioned draught with a great step and kind temperament. His full sibling has been very lightly but successfully shown, winning at county level.
His sire is the highest scoring class 1 Irish draught stallion standing in the UK who had a successful show career as a youngster and went on to win at the IDHS(GB) National Show as a mature stallion. Elvis is a gold merit stallion who’s progeny have won at county and national level both inhand and under saddle. His performance bloodlines have shone through in his stock who are competing successfully in affiliated BD, BS and BE.
Mickey although typey is also athletic and I would like to think his future career would not be just limited to the showring should his potential owners want him to do a variety of ‘jobs’ be it in competition, hunting or a fun alrounder and best friend.
We are based in South Yorkshire, 10mins from the M1 and A1.
Serious enquiries only please, his price reflects his quality.

A lovely write up in the showing journal for the young small hunter ‘Oaktree Daydream’
Bred by Claire Cooper by Bannvalley Pride of Midnight - Elvis class 1 RID stallion ex Zorinas’s Regal Dreamgirl.
Cara is owned by Hannah and Pauline Binks and has carried on her successful season qualifying for both the amateur and open RIHS small hunters with Hannah riding her.
So lovely for mentioning her breeding, I think I will speak for all breeders/studs when I say how much it is appreciated.

A rather belated post from the GYS! I was waiting for a photo and then got busy and forgot 😩
It was a wonderful day, rather sad that I didn’t take anything myself however three ‘Gracelands’ horses went and did the stud proud.
Gracelandse Showtime had a super show and won the Irish draught sporthorse youngstock and came 2nd in the Hunter breeding for her owner Joanne Mosley. Shown beautifully by Roy Haggerty she looked a picture and lived up to her name 😁
Gracelandse Bammbamm strutted his stuff and looked every bit an Irish draught for his owner Helen Plant. I don’t think Helen will mind me saying showing is not on her favourite list of things to do and before purchasing Bammbamm as a foal would probably never have thought she would be running round the ring with some of the countries top Irish draughts. I was incredibly for perhaps putting herself slightly out of her comfort zone and competing there. I was equally proud of Bammbamm during the trot up when Helen tripped and fell to which he immediately stopped and put his head down to her and waited patiently whilst she got to her feet earning many awes and ahh’s from the crowd 😍
Last but certainly not least was Gracelandse Notonyournellie who competed in the ridden Irish draught class for her owner Lauren Hill. Expertly ridden by Caroline Saynor she came 5th in a huge class of over 20 horses, many of which have competed successfully at some of the most prestigious shows in the U.K. she held her own in such good company and did not put a foot wrong, that ring as many of you will know is a true test for younger or less experienced horses and she behaved impeccably. A true testament to the hard work that Lauren and her supportive family and friends have put into her.
3 stunning horses all by Bannvalley Pride of Midnight - Elvis class 1 RID stallion, Thankyou very much for helping fly the Irish draught and Gracelands stud flag xx
