🐶Welcome to Puppy School🐶

👀 who has recently joined me at Puppy School in the Graham Adams Centre in Southam.

🐶We are already 3 weeks into the 6 week course and all the pups have been settling in nicely to class and learning lots.

A warm welcome to Ellie, Tilly, Flash, Charlie, Spencer and Ember. Some of what we have been learning so far includes:

🌟Last week I welcomed this lovely new group of pups and their families to start their Puppy School Journey with me at Cubbington Village Hall and Pavilion

❤️2 weeks of the course completed so far and everyone is settling in nicely to class and working hard. It was a real highlight this week being asked how many areas were needing to be practised for homework at the end of the session! ❤️ Remember you can use your course manual and the Puppy Club area to recap over any exercises if you wish.

🌟Well done everyone and keep up the great work you are doing with your pups- I am looking forward to seeing you all again soon and am excited for our future weeks of fun and learning together.

🥶❄️ it is rather chilly this week….take a read of these fabulous top tips for winter weather conditions for your pups from Puppy School.

❄️☃️ Winter Safety ☃️❄️

To make sure you and your furry friend stay safe in the cold weather, please be aware of these common hazards:

❄️ It is never safe for your puppy to walk on a frozen body of water, as there is no way of knowing how thick the ice is. Keep them under close control around frozen water to avoid the risk of them falling through.

❄️ Salt spread on roads and pavements can be an irritant to your puppy's paws. Rinse their paws with warm water when you get home from a walk, this will also prevent them from licking the salt from their paws.

❄️ Antifreeze is poisonous to dogs if ingested. If you think your puppy has licked, or come into contact with any antifreeze, contact your vet immediately.

❄️ Small breeds, young puppies, and those with short hair are particularly at risk of losing heat quickly. Look at for any signs that they are cold (shivering or becoming tired) and bring them back into the warm as soon as possible.

Keep yourself and your pup safe out there, and maybe have fun with inside enrichment activities if the weather is too awful!

🌟Feeling Thankful🌟Happy New Year 🎉🌟

🌟I have had the absolute pleasure of 88 pups attend Puppy School classes this past year with me across my 3 venues and have loved helping all of these families on their early journeys with their pups, in addition to having families wishing to continue their training with me on SuperPup and 1-1 training. Grateful for all your support with my small business, whether you have attended classes, recommended me or my classes or liked and shared my posts- Thank you to you all.

🌟Wishing all of my lovely clients and their pups, followers, friends and family a healthy and happy 2025.
