I’ve only gone and done it—as you know I’ve officially passed my dog walking certification assessment! That means that I’m now a registered member of the Modern Dog Walkers Association (MDWA). Fancy, right? Basically, it’s like getting a gold star for doing things the right way—science-based, welfare-focused, and totally up-to-date with modern dog handling techniques.

So, what does this mean for you lovely lot? Well, if you’re looking for a dog walker who actually knows their stuff (and doesn’t just rely on “having had dogs all my life” as a qualification), I’m now officially recognised by MDWA as someone who does things properly. 🎉 Certified & Official! 🐾📜

Well, it’s official—I’ve passed the IMDT Professional Dog Walking Certification! 🎓🐶

After 7 years of walking dogs professionally, I’ve finally got the official stamp of approval to call myself a Certified Pro Dog Walker—because, let’s be honest, any excuse to add another certificate to the collection, right? (We all know I love a course! 😆)

But in all seriousness, ongoing education is so important in this industry. There’s always more to learn, new insights to gain, and ways to improve the care we provide to the dogs we work with. This course has been a great deep dive into dog welfare, safety, professional standards, and best practices, reinforcing just how much responsibility we hold as dog walkers.
