Hi everyone I'm currently swamped in emails etc and trying my hardest to get back to everyone.

Good evening. Just wanted to do a quick update.

First small reminder, we only ship on days with at least 2 working/non strike days following. November does not look good!

Orders made between 18th and 25th October are all now dispatched. Due to the sheer volume that built up, it took me 2 days to get them cleared.
Thank you for bearing with us while postal strikes stopped dispatch.

Tomorrow I will be packing orders from 26th and 27th.

Strikes aside I just wanted to update usual postage.

When we were in the early days of business we generally posted same day if orders were placed in time for packing before postage run. This unfortunately is no longer the case since we've grown.
We are now just over a year old and the amount of orders received on a daily basis take me at least 2-3 hours just to get all invoices and postage labels printed, I then pot up thousands of pupae and flies, box up, tape up, labels on. Of course I will always do my best to get things out ASAP and if you have an emergency I will always prioritise where I can.

Please place all orders via website/ebay (but preferably website) as all orders are printed via the website then postage labels from them. If your order isn't in my pile printed from the website you unfortunately end up back of the queue.

Hugh if you're here please drop me an email. Ebay has given me a postage label in this name but I cannot find the order in ebay or via website (which logs both website orders and ebay) so I have no idea what I'm meant to be sending 😩 possibly the weirdest problem I've ever encountered.

Quick one today 😂

I'm pretty sure I'm up to date on emails/messages.

All orders placed between Thursday evening and yesterday evening have all been dispatched.

Our eBay is currently still closed but website is business as usual.

Royal mail are still as fantastic as they have been the last month or so and 1st class generally still isn't getting there the next day.

Good evening everyone. Few people have messaged but I can't see previous messages, no idea why, this has been going on for a while now!

If you've messaged about orders, all orders except ones made TODAY have all gone out first class, and some of the higher value orders are 1st class signed for (royal mail have lost to many high value ones recently)

We won't be posting tomorrow because royal mail haven't managed to deliver Fridays parcels the next day in a month+ so next posting day is Tuesday 20th as Monday is Bank Holiday. So if you're placing an order soon, now is the time because you'll be top of the list 😊

Now we can start afresh, and no more strikes, turnaround will be back to normal. It's been the most stressful few weeks which my partner will definitely confirm I didn't handle well 😂😳

Thank you everyone who's been patient it's hugely appreciated. We never delay orders going out just for the fun of it, it would have been silly to send them and hope for the best that they get there alive. Flies really are not the hardiest!

I'll stop rambling now. 💚

The last month (at least) royal mail first class has taken a minimum of 2 days but more often 4, due to this I've had to work out 'safe days' to post in-between strikes and the bank holiday and that so far has come down to one day, the 30th Aug.
I'd rather send orders out knowing they have some chance of survival over just getting them out when ever and hoping for the best.

Please understand its stressful for me as much as you. Royal mail is making a huge impact on our business, not in a good way.

I started the school holidays planning to work every other day so I got time with my kids, but instead because of royal mail and having to fix issues they've caused I've ended up working over my kids birthdays and the only time off I've had is because of the strikes.

Due to the lack of safe posting days I have my own backlog. I'm processing as fast as I can, I just don't want to send out and they all get caught up and die.

Please bare in mind there are more strike days coming up which again will affect the amount I can get out safely. Also with royal mail already struggling before strikes the strikes will only exaggerate posting times.

Unfortunately the only way I can keep prices low is to post with royal mail. Our business is completely at their mercy at the moment and it's not fun.

Thank you to all the understanding people. I appreciate you more than I have the correct words for. You're amazing at boosting me when I'm at bursting point 😂 thank you 💚

Also thank you to Kai, he is the one that gets the masses of parcels to the post office, he gives me the stress count down to the very last minute he can run out the door to the very patient postlady that collects from the post office and is very often waiting for him because I've had to "just pack one more"

Sorry for the long old rambling but I'm hoping this gives an insight in to the fact just because it's not a strike date and I'm not posting, it's because the strike dates will affect your order getting to you in top condition.

Good afternoon everyone. I know this page is super quiet, but we are still here.

Can I please ask all ordered to go through the website https://newforestlivefoods.co.uk/ or the ebay store as I print all invoices out (which I use to know what I'm packing) via the website so I can end up missing any that go straight through paypal/Bank transfer.
Our bank and PayPal details have all changed recently too.

This was set up as a little on the side thing but has grown much bigger than we ever expected! Thank you all so much for your continued support weather that's buying regularly or recommending us.

Hi everyone, firstly sorry for the silence. I've not been able to message or even scroll down the home screen! I've logged in just now via the laptop rather than my phone and its actually letting me message, apparently its all moved over to the new Meta system, so I'm guessing that's why I've had issues.

Hello 👋 just an update to say I'm extremely low on pots I send my flies out in as my supplier sent the wrong size! I've got a few keep aside for emergencies though!
I'm hoping to have pots the right size early next week and then live fly parcels can go out as normal 🤞
