Excuse the flash photos, Bella has made an amazing recovery after losing her eye just before Christmas. And is being the best mumma to her surprise baby she gave birth to the day after eye removal surgery. Proper Supermum! 🥰

3 new joeys have joined the brood from 3 different mummas.. a whiteface girl, a mosaic girl and a Platinum boy all oop within a day of each other 🥰❤️🩷💙

Well Bella definitely surprised me today.. after giving her meds and checking how she was doing this morning (she looks much brighter this morning and her and Barnum have clearly been scenting the vet smell away 🙈🙄) so although she looks totally battered and broken, she decided to share this awesome moment with me ❤️❤️ Barnum trying to help also .. such a strong and awesome mumma ❤️

Poor Bella is looking a little worse for wear.. operation went well and she is home and back with Barnum. She took her meds like a good girl and is eating so all good signs. I will put her photo in the comments as some may not want to see.. but providing she leaves her wound alone and stitches in place I'm hopeful she will heal well and be back to her bouncing self before I know it ❤️

Been a while since I posted on here.. life is always so chaotic 2023 has been so incredibly busy! Poor Bella is having another spot of bad luck to go along side her stub tail and half ear Bella will also only have 1 eye after Thursday 😢 what started as a seeming scratch or irritated eye has in the space of 2 days become a ruptured eye and is now past the point of repair and is being removed on Thursday.. she is still the sweetest and liveliest of my brood and has been so patient with me and the vets over the last few days.. I hope she adapts quickly to yet another hurdle and goes on to live a long Happy life ❤️

Apologies for the lack of posts lately, life has been very busy!
I also seem to have had a fairly big issue with my inbox as have in the last 2 days had an influx of messages popping up as unread from up to 15 weeks ago! So big apologies to anyone messaging about gliders or for information and advise! I believe it is all sorted now so if anyone has messaged me recently and had no response please drop me a new message.
I have a few new joeys oop and a trio looking for their forever home after being royally messed about so if anyone wants any information drop me a line ❤️

Well my poor boy went over the rainbow bridge today 😢 after taking a bad turn a losing coordination and balance I took him back to the vets where they gave fluids, glucose and antibiotics as a precaution while they ran his bloods.. he was a very poorly boy but not for the reasons we suspected 😭 he had extremely high liver enzymes resulting in liver failure (the membranes on his eyes had become a bit yellow but liver failure is not common in rabbits so I think we overlooked this 😞) low glucose that they were unable to get up with glucose, severe anaemia and very high white blood count, he was unable to sit without spraying his legs out and just so beaten that I made the decision to put him to sleep.. I am utterly devastated and my son is beyond heartbroken 💔💔 Rest in peace Ace, you definitely were one in a million and will be so very sorely missed ❤️❤️

Sorry to all those awaiting replies.. I have spent the last few days in and out of the emergency vet with my rabbit, he has GI stasis he is a very poorly boy and things are looking a little bleak at the moment, after days of meds, tests and injections he isn't improving like we hoped, I am hourly pushing fluids and medications and am exhausted so apologies but I will catch up with my messages as soon as I can ❤️

So I had a first at the vet yesterday..
Kali and Peanuts Platinum and grey boys went in for neuter.. all went well with the anesthetic but the Platinum boy only had 1 decended testicle.. she removed the one that she could but now we are working out what to do about the undecended one.. I talks with both my vet locally that does my neuters and my other exotic vet I use for anything out of the norm. A nice expensive vet bill I can sense coming 🙈
Not that he is fussed.. he is just living his best life with his brother as usual 🙄❤️🤣

Intros done on the joeys that will be going to their forever home on Sunday.. quickest intros ever I think we were in the tent for about 5 minutes.. 2 of which was me getting setup and comfy prepared for a long stint in the tent 🤣🤣 love it when they make it so easy for me ❤️ 3 happy babies and one very happy me! 😁

Latest joeys are absolute belters, a single Leucistic (well she is meant to be, but now seems to have black edges on her ears which has thrown me!!) From Bella and Barnum and a stunning mosaic boy and whiteface girl from Mimi and Milo! All stunning and growing so well ❤️

*Edit to add, Gunner put up a good fight but also passed this morning 😭😭 they will be taken to the vet to investigate what has happened.. i am truly devastated. I adored these boys and cannot believe this has happened 💔💔*

I was absolutely devastated to find my best and original boy Gus had passed away and Gunner his brother (2 of my triplet boys and my first ever gliders) in very bad shape, I have no idea what has caused this, both have been off their food for a week while I was away but this is not unusual for them but had eaten the few days since I came home, Gus must have passed over night and Gunner was as the side of the cage barely moving, Gunner is still holding on and is currently in my incubator and I am praying he pulls through. Gus will be going for a autopsy in hope we can work out what has caused this. I am utterly heartbroken, Max first, and now Gus and Gunner isn't looking so good 😭😭 pic of Gus and second pic is my poor Gunner. All other gliders are fine and full of life as always so gutted for my boys 💔💔

Very sad day today.
We lost our oldest boy here today, max was 12 years old, he came to us originally with his old cagemate to do reintroductions after a bad fight that meant they were separated for a period of time, the intros were very successful and max and Oscar went back home together as very happy boys. Unfortunately Oscar passed away and it left this gorgeous old boy all alone so he came to me to live out his retirement with my neutered boys. He was happily living out his retirement with gus and gunner but he began getting frail and had what seemed to be a neurological episode, he had antibiotics and massively improved but unfortunately he had to be separated from the boys as he was falling from the sides of the cage, he went into a small emergency cage where he greatly improved although a lot more frail but unfortunately he succumbed to his grand old age and crossed the rainbow bridge last night. He was such an adorable, loving boy and my son and max had a very special bond. My son is devastated as I am but max is now running pain free with Oscar again ❤️❤️

Update of some of the gorgeous joeys we currently have, the mosaic twin boys, like chalk and cheese but equally gorgeous, and the gorgeous little platinum boy is growing so fast and is booked in for neuter early September so he is ready for his forever home ❤❤

One of my glider parents has reached out and needs to rehome his gliders, they are a 1 year old sibling pair (girl and neutered boy) they come with a viv and other bits, message me for more info and can put in touch with their current owner if awesome and knowledge home can be offered

I updated a cute little video with my single girl KitKat yesterday so thought I'd post the other 3 today.. they are all getting so big so quickly 🥺 but as biased as I may be I have 4 very cute and very chill joeys at the moment ❤❤ plenty of time for that to change bit I will enjoy it while it lasts 🤣 here are the twin grey girls.. Bella came out to show off her first joey today.. a stunning platinum little boy, a little mini-me of his papa ❤❤ they are all doing amazing and such attentive parents and uncle.. can't wait to watch this awesome little guy grow to be as big and gorgeous as his papa ❤

Well after having 20 boys neutered Pudding has just become my first to split his wound back open 🙈 he has been put in my small emergency cage for tonight and is back in first thing to be reglued.. luckily he doesn't seem interested in it and isn't messing with it currently but I will now be up and keeping an eye on him to make sure he is a good boy until the vet fixes him up in the morning 🙄🤦‍♀️ he is however completely ignoring my existence and won't even take a yoggie as he is so mad at me for disturbing his family dinner and putting him on his own 😔 sorry pudding but it's for your own good!

Pippa has smashed it.. she is looking amazing and getting calmer and more friendly by the day.. she has really done so well!! What a turn around ❤❤

We have happy chirps today! For the first time since I picked her up I have finally heard happy noises.. she still shouted at me when I got her out for her meds but I think it is looking a lot better at long last and we may be getting somewhere at last ❤🤞

In happier news, some joey spam of gorgeous Eros, he is a super chilled little man and pretty handsome to boot 🥰❤

First day in the double bonding pouch.. Bella had a bit of a shout to start but they all had a good sniff and then settled down to sleep after looking at each other through the mesh... I have separated Bella into her own cage incase the smell of the boys she is currently in with is part of Barnum's issue with her and they have been sitting across from each other this evening showing more positive interest.. Will go again in bonding bag tomorrow and then possibly get into the tent again.. fingers crossed!! ❤🤞🤞❤
