I just wanted to address some questions I keep getting asked 😅
Do you need a license to be a dog Walker?
It is not essential for a professional dog walker to have a dog walking certification, qualification or license. A love of dogs and enough spare time is really all you need when starting a dog walking business👍🏻
Do you need Insurance to be a dog Walker?
 Insurance for dog walkers isn't a legal requirement unless you employ someone👍🏻
I do understand that having insurance would be great for my business but I’m just starting out. Once I’ve reached some customers and make some profit I will definitely be looking into it 🙂
What’s your experience with animals?
I’ve been around animals my whole live, I grew up with cats and my friends had dogs.
I thought with the love and interest in animals that I have that I’m going to study something I really enjoy.
My dream job was to be a vet but I didn’t think I had the brains for it😅 so I just decided to stick with something else for a while.
I used to go to sixth form but it just wasn’t for me. And now I’m a student studying an animal management diploma.
This will be the start of my journey in working with animals, hopefully I go onto doing a veterinary nurse course when I finish college 🤞🏻
Dog walking will help me with experience and it’s something I’m very passionate about. I do work with dogs at the moment at a dog groomers as well. I volunteer!😍
