HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳 🐶

We don’t have new years resolutions here at Allstars but we have set some beautiful intentions for the year!
⭐️ More Joy! We vow to find the little tiny moments of joy with our dogs peppered throughout the day

⭐️ More Training! We want to help as many owners and dogs this year as we can, training for just 5 minutes 3 times a day has a surprising impact on our dogs and their behaviour

⭐️ Gratefulness! Starting and ending the day looking for all things we are grateful for

We are so excited to be back at work this this week, class start again next week on 12th January.

🐶 Bronze class is now full please message to be put on the waiting list for the next start in March

The government have released the definition of an xl bully and new laws that will come in to place as of 2024 (exert posted below and full government page linked at the bottom).

We feel devastated for all xl bully and bull breed owners as the definition of type could apply to so many breeds 😞 In light of this we will be offering free muzzle training for all owners of bully breeds either privately or we can arrange a workshop (please comment below to let us know your preference).

“If you want to keep your dog after the ban, you must apply for a Certificate of Exemption.

You will have until 31 January 2024 to apply for this exemption.

Applications will be subject to a £92.40 application fee, to cover administration costs.

To keep an XL Bully dog you must ensure it is:

microchipped
kept on a lead and muzzled at all times when in public
kept in a secure place so it cannot escape
You will also need to neuter your dog. If your dog is less than one year old on 31 January 2024, it must be neutered by 31 December 2024”

This girl really struggles with impulsivity around food, practising some self control today!

She’s picked this exercise up so quickly, she started off clawing at my hands and couldn’t be near the food without it being covered!
Fast forward 20 minutes and can happily be around the food without snatching or rushing for it ⭐️ 🐶
