Brrrr what a chilly week 🥶🥶!! I hope everyone is keeping nice and warm 🔥! Winter grooming is just as important as those summer haircuts for your dog, regular visits help to keep the coat matt free and in great condition, so you can opt for a longer style to keep your pet warm. We also offer maintenance grooms if you would prefer to keep the coat but could do with a tidy and freshen up, this includes a bath and blowdry, tidy around the face, feet and sanitary areas, nails trimmed and ears cleaned, contact us to book in! Of course a few of our superstars from the week with some flowers to make us feel better about this weather 🤷‍♀️🌸🌼! Xx

So thats this year wrapped up for us! Time to put the scissors down and relax after a busy few weeks ✂️🐕🐶! We would like to thank everyone for your support over the last few months with our move to our little salon, and wish you all a wonderful christmas and a happy new year!! Two of my favorite old boys came for their Christmas pamper this week 🌲, meet Oliver the little westie, he’s 15 years old now and still as handsome as ever 😍, and Stanley the retriever, 12 years old and still doesn’t stop wagging his tail throughout the entire groom (flicking me with water in the bath 😂) and of course very handsome too! Both have been coming to me for many years and always a peleasure to groom ❤️ xx

MEET THE GROOMERS -

CLARRY DORMAN
I began grooming back in 2015 at just 15 years old, on weekends, and in school holidays. From then on, I knew that it was a true passion of mine, and it's what I have done ever since.
Like Sam, I first started my training at Deefordogs, which is where we first met. Since then, I have worked at various grooming salons around the Essex area, honing my skills with on the job training and self-study, before finally being reunited with Sam 2 and a half years ago.
It has always been my dream to open my own salon and deliver the highest quality of care and standards to every dog that comes through my doors, and I am now able to make that dream a reality.
I have experience grooming a wide range of breeds to breed standard, including hand-strips and scissor trims, and I am able to tailor my grooms to your personal specifications.

Sheba here is over 13years old and has been coming to me for many years for her regular grooms! She amazes me how she has barely aged and is such a sweetheart 🥰! With a coat this soft and fluffy it’s a good job she doesn’t mind a cuddle 😂 xx

It’s been another good week here at Scruff 2 Fluff, we have been super busy this week with lots of furry friends enjoying the mud 🐕🐶🐾! Well thats halloween/bonfire week a wrap and the decorations are down 👹👿🔥☄️! SAM LEE
I began my grooming career in 2011 when I enrolled on an intensive course at Deefordogs with the very talented Denise Westbrook, then stayed on to work for Dee and and build my experience, to later gain my city and guilds level 3 diploma qualification.
I have experience in grooming a wide range of breeds to breed standard, including handsripping and scissor trims, and like to regularly attend seminars and grooming events to keep up to date!
I am a proud member of the groomers spotlight, a platform created to promote qualified groomers in the industry and celebrate the art of professional dog grooming.
